CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy £25  -  £35
CBT is based on the principle that individuals learn unhelpful ways of thinking and behaving over a long period of time. However, identifying these thoughts and how they can be problematic to feelings and behaviours can enable individuals to challenge negative ways of thinking, leading to positive feelings and behavioural changes. It is possible for the therapy to take place on a one-to-one basis, with family members or even as a group depending on the issue and how the individual feels most comfortable.CBT can be useful for dealing with issues such as:angeranxietydepressiondrug or alcohol problemseating disordersobsessive-compulsive disorderphobiaspost-traumatic stress disorderSexual and relationship problemsThe emphasis on cognitive or behaviour aspects of therapy can vary depending on the issue. For example, the emphasis may be more towards cognitive therapy when treating depression, or the emphasis may be more towards behaviour therapy when treating obsessive compulsive disorder.CBT is a practical  counselling therapy, which is likely to work best treating a specific issue as it focuses on particular problems and how to overcome them.CBTcounselling  sessions may consist of a number of activities, including:Coping skillsAssessmentsRelaxationChallenging certain thoughtsThought stoppingHomework projectsTraining in communication
Counselling £25  -  £35
Counselling takes place when a counsellor sees a client in a private and confidential setting to explore a difficulty the client is having, distress they may be experiencing or perhaps their dissatisfaction with life, or loss of a sense of direction and purpose. It is always at the request of the client as no one can properly be sent for counselling.By listening attentively and patiently the counsellor can begin to perceive the difficulties from the clients point of view and can help them to see things more clearly, possibly from a different perspective. Counselling is a way of enabling choice or change or of reducing confusion.  It does not involve giving advice or directing a client to take a particular course of action. Counsellors do not judge or exploit their clients in any way. Here at counselling2gether, we offer a variety of  counselling approaches including: CBT-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Solution-Focussed TherapyPerson- centered TherapyIntergrative Therapy

I still act as an ambassador to the wonderful organisation.   Since, that I have completed a research into Psycho-Oncology which I have presented at Irish Association for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy conference in 2016, which was also published in their booklet. I was chosen to present at American based International Psycho-oncology Symposium and I had a pleasure to share my research at British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy conference in Chester, 2017. My research was based on the psychotherapeutic exploration of the psycho-dynamics that occur when health professionals are faced with human vulnerability, dying and compromised communication within multidisciplinary teams.   Currently, I offer

Of course we are in the middle of treatment now (allergy) and it will take a few weeks more but looks promising. All my questions about treatment were answered and needed test was done with no pain (4 yrs girl was tested). Doctor adjusted his attitude, approach and medicines for a small children. It is not very cheap but price is still acceptable. Clinic is nice and clean. Staff is very nice, helpful and well informed. There is a car parking and place is easy to find due to clear signs outside. Clinic seems to be well equiped and organised. Doctor is very friendly and very professional.

Like some clients you may be nervous or embarrassed about seeking psychotherapy or counselling, believing you should be able to handle your problems; or your issues need to be earth-shattering to justify professional help; or it might the problems even more 'real'. The truth is, it's safe to seek help and it’s a sign of strength and self-respect. Maybe you can think of it as a workout for your brain? It's normal to review your lifestyle and begin exercising to achieve a better level of fitness and wellbeing — why not do the same for your thoughts and feelings? By providing a calm, confidential and accepting environment we’ve helped people overcome their difficulties and find their inner strengths, and we can help you achieve these things too, all you need to do is ask.

Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy enables clients to identify, analyse and change unwanted thoughts and behaviours. This mode of psychotherapy is a practical approach to exploring the connecting links between our senses (sight, sound, touch, smell, taste); the language we use or listen to (how it affects us) and our patterns of learned and repetitive behaviour. Once we understand what is happening in our lives we are in a position to make the appropriate changes to our world, the language we use to support ourselves and new behaviours to put in place for a happier and more successful life style.
Counselling
Not everyone who seeks the help of a counsellor is ‘ill’ and it’s not always obvious when something is wrong. You may have noticed you don’t feel much of anything; no excitement; ambition or energy and if you resonate with the above you are potentially in a fur lined rut, and it’s time to get out. The process of talking to a professional counsellor about your life, relationships, fears, worries, hopes and dreams can be enriching, validating and rewarding. It can make the difference between disappointment and success, and lead to profound improvements to relationships, self esteem, motivation, and confidence.
