Some years ago, I became interested in hypnotherapy and counselling, and the way in which our minds work. I studied with Chrysalis, the UK’s leading provider of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy training. I set up Sylvan Therapies to provide counselling and hypnotherapy services to clients throughout Dorset, helping them to move forward in their lives. I specialise in weight loss, and helping people suffering from anxiety, stress and lack of confidence/self-esteem, together with other issues, such as IBS, phobias (including the fear of flying), smoking, pain relief, public speaking and many other psychologically and emotionally-based issues. I use hypnotherapy and counselling skills, together with other techniques such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy and neurolinguistic programming.
