Elise Beeby - Blouberg Medispa

She is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Hypnotherapist. She completed her qualification at Rand Afrikaans University with a distinction. With a thesis related to children with enuresis and encopresis. She completed two internships, one at Sterkfontein Hospital in Clinical Psychology and one at the then Department of Labour in Counselling Psychology and career guidance. Thereafter she was appointed as a student counsellor and lecturer at Technikon Witwatersrand. She was then promoted to the Departmental Head of Student Counselling and thereafter to Assistant Director. She lectured the Optometry students and assisted in the selection processes of various facilities inter alia Engineering, Dental technicians etc. She initially practised part time and then established very successful practices at Sandton Clinic and Mayo Clinic. Due to her interest in businesses and children 7 very successful nursery schools were established and then eventually sold to Crawford College and Langeni Lodge and Stress Clinic which also was sold when relocating to Cape Town. She hen worked along side Brian Finkelstein as an associate at Crescent Clinic until opening her own practice in Bloubergstrand (West Beach). She is currently the owner and director of Palm Tree Clinic, an Acute Psychiatric Clinic catering for 15 in house patients. She also owns Blouberg Medi Spa where a multi disciplinary team practises, we offer a one stop wellness concept.
