Biography:

Dr Yang completed his training as a Clinical Psychologist in Australia and is a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society.

He has practised in both hospital and community-based mental health settings in Sydney, Queensland and Singapore since 2006.

Previously Head of the counselling Program at the Singapore Institute of Management University, Joel also held an appointment at Yale-NUS College, National University of Singapore.

He primarily works with individuals and couples suffering from anxiety, depression, addictions, anger-management and adjustment issues. He divides his time among clinical work, teaching, training, and writing.

He adopts Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), all of which he has conducted regular trainings for at the Social Services Institute and the Ministry of Home Affairs since 2014.

Outside of work, he maintains a regular Mindfulness practice and enjoys running and swimming. He is actively involved with Thailand-based humanitarian relief charity, RADION International.

Biography:
Claudia earned her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology in Australia, and is a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society.

She has experience working with both individuals and groups in private, community and hospital settings, both in Singapore and abroad.

She specialises in helping clients with behavioral and emotional difficulties including depression, eating disorders, self-harm, and adolescent identity issues.

Biography:

Zhang Jin completed her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology in Australia under a Singapore Ministry of Health scholarship and is a registered supervisor with the Singapore Psychological Society.

She started her practice in prisons and hospitals since 2006 and was one of the first psychologists to be practicing in a community setting in Singapore.

She works with individuals whom struggle with issues including low self-esteem, relationship stress, identity issues concerning sexuality, anxiety, depression, trauma, and end-of-life concerns. She also has significant experience working with couples who need support in building and rebuilding trust, intimacy, and connection.
