Biography:

Dr Sivasanker is a Consultant in adult psychiatry who has been involved in treating people with mental health problems since 2000.  He offers treatment for a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder, and specializes in managing complex psychological problems such as bipolar affective disorder (manic depression) and psychosis.

Dr Sivasanker began his medical training at St Catharine’s College in Cambridge and worked initially in East London. He subsequently underwent higher training in Cambridge and East Anglia. During this time he worked extensively in inner city and rural areas and gained particular experience in his special interest of psychiatric intensive care.  He is currently a Consultant Psychiatrist in Luton at one of the country’s leading mental health NHS Foundation Trusts.
