About Exercise Therapy- Claremont
I am a Graduate Sports Therapist from the University of Central Lancashire. I lived in the UK for 6 years and returned to Cape Town in 2012 to continue my passion and career as a Sports Therapist.
I help people who have any type of sports injuries, or people who have muscle related issues. I use a combination of exercise therapies, manual therapy techniques, joint mobilizations, taping techniques and sports massage to guide your muscles back into their normal healthy state.
I currently live in Cape Town & since 2013 I have been working at a Private practice in Claremont specializing in Sports Massage, Exercise Therapy, Fitness training, Post surgery rehabilitation, strapping & Injury rehabilitation.
Prior to this I worked for a semi-professional football club doing pitch-side first aid and rehabilitation, including work with the Perth U/18 Rugby team in Scotland and a Professional Youth Scottish football team, Dunfermline Athletic.
During my time off, I enjoy trail running, cycling, hiking, and have competed in many triathlons over the last few years.
I have worked at the Absa Cape Epic mountain bike challenge the last 2 years including the African-X 3 day trail run & I have worked & travelled on number of cycle tours with the Day Trippers.
