Biography:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy Occupational Physiotherapist – TAC/WorkSafe Preferred Provider Nick commenced practise as a physiotherapist at Physioworks Health Group in 2006 after graduating from LaTrobe University. He has completed Clinical Pilates Level 1 and 2 Certificates with Dance Medicine Australia and has been instrumental in developing the Clinical Pilates programme at Physioworks Health Group. His experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and occupational injury management is recognised by his standing as a TAC/WorkSafe Occupational Physiotherapist. Nick has a special interest in sports physiotherapy and since 2007 he has continued Physioworks Health Group’s involvement with the Victorian Cricket Association by working as the Victorian Cricket Team & Academy Physiotherapist with the U/17s, U/19s, U/23s & 2nd XI Victorian cricket teams. Over the past two cricket seasons, Nick has been the Head Physiotherapist for the Melbourne Renegades in the 20/20 Big Bash League. Nick has been appointed by Cricket Victoria as the Head Physiotherapist of the Victorian Bushrangers for the 2013/2014 season. Nick is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is an active member of the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia and Sports Physiotherapy Australia Groups.

Sports Physiotherapist Scott Williams Sports Physiotherapist Bachelor of Physiotherapy Masters of Sports Physiotherapy Occupational Physiotherapist – TAC/WorkSafe Preferred Provider Scott commenced practise as a physiotherapist in 1999 and joined Physioworks Health Group in 2004 with experience in the private and public sectors within Australia and overseas. In 2006 he completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University and finished his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2010. Scott has extensive experience in Occupational Injury Management and plays a key role within Physioworks Health Group managing clients with acute and chronic work related injuries. His experience in managing musculoskeletal injuries and assisting clients back to work is recognised by his standing as a preferred provider for TAC/WorkSafe as an Occupational Physiotherapist. Scott is especially interested in sports injury management. In 2007, Scott worked as physiotherapist at the annual Arafura Games (Darwin). He is well known locally having been the club physiotherapist for the Dandenong Stingrays (AFL TAC Under 18’s) for several years and in 2012 was the attending physio for the Casey Cardinia Football Inter League teams. Scott is currently the club physiotherapist for the Cranbourne Football Club, a role he has enjoyed for the last 3 season. Scott is a long time member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is an active member of the Sports Physiotherapy Australia Group.

David specialises in sports injury management, particularly injuries and rehabilitation associated with Australian Rules Football. David graduated from La Trobe University in 1990 and commenced his physiotherapy career at the Goulburn Valley Hospital. In 1993 he returned to Melbourne completing a year of full time study in 1995 to achieve his post-graduate diploma in Manipulative Therapy from La Trobe University. Around this time, David established Physioworks Health Group Cranbourne and Pakenham to provide excellence in allied health services to the outer south eastern corridor of Melbourne. Following further intensive specialist study, training and rigorous examinations, David was awarded the title Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and has been awarded a Fellowship of the Australian College of Physiotherapy (FACP). Currently, there are 40+ Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists in Australia, with eight practicing Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists in Victoria. David Francis F.A.C.P. the Director of Physioworks Health Group, heads the practice team at Physioworks Cranbourne and Physioworks Pakenham. Since 1995 david’s professional work has been divided between Physioworks Health Group and the Collingwood Football Club, where he is a co medical director and senior physiotherapist. David was appointed as physiotherapist to the Victorian State of Origin Team in 1999 and the AFL International Rules Team in 2001-2oo2. David has been a member of the AFL Physiotherapy Association wince 1995 and is a past Vicce PResident. He continues to be an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia and the Australian College of Physiotherapists. Together with fellow Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Andrew Dalwood and in conjunction with a Specialist Physiotherapy Group, David has also established Physioworks Health Group Camberwell to provide an outstanding level of Specialist Musculoskeletal and General Physiotherapy service to the inner south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
