ohn graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Queensland in 1988. He has worked locally and abroad gaining hospital and private practice experience. During his time in the UK, he was a Senior Physiotherapist at The Royal London Hospital Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury Unit. He continues to work with numerous sporting clubs and representative teams.
Shane gained experience in several British hospitals whilst also working with a number of Rugby Union clubs delivering physiotherapy services. He is an ex-Chairman of the South West Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine. In addition, he helped to establish a new Geriatric Rehabilitation Unit in Bristol.
In addition to his post at PhysioWorks, Alex is also undertaking a Masters research project with the AFL, QLD Academy of Sport and Australian Catholic University, and continues a part-time teaching position with ACU.
