Bo Li is the Women’s Health Physiotherapist and a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Live Life Physiotherapy. Bo takes the time with her clients to go through their pelvic floor issues and their goals with the required sensitivity. Many women can be quite uncomfortable talking about what can be seen as a “hush” subject. Bo understands this and is dedicated to keeping the session as relaxed as possible to minimise the anxieties that can be present. Her assessment of each patient is very thorough and includes a vaginal assessment and/or anal assessment if it is required. State of the art equipment is used in her new rooms at Bella Vista. Whether it is pain in the back, shoulder, hip or anywhere in the body, Bo can assist you in getting back to your normal daily life. Bo has passion about observing how the body works. By looking at your movements, postures, strength and flexibility (or lack there of!!) Bo can develop a unique treatment regime just for your body to optimise how your muscles, joints and nerves work together. Bo graduated at the University of Sydney Health Campus in 2002. Her work experience has included working at a women’s health clinic, St Joseph’s Hospital specialising in rehabilitation as well as private practices. She has also been an orthopaedic senior physiotherapist at St Vincent’s Private Hospital in Darlinghurst. Her training in women’s health started at the Royal Women’s Hospital at Randwick. She is a member of the Women’s Health Training Associates which specialises in training of pelvic floor issues and is a member of the Continence Foundation of Australia. She continues to attend advanced pelvic floor education courses, regular educational updates and seminars. In the past she has given presentations on bladder and bowel health and continues to be passionate about educating the public in optimising their health. Bo is incredibly passionate about raising awareness of these widespread women’s health issues that are poorly understood both in the medical community and in the public at large.
