Gained a 2.1 honours degree in Marine Biology and Zoology from the University College of North Wales before taking two research posts at the University of Lancaster. Due to science funding cuts he became a Biology Teacher and spent 14 years in that profession before deciding that it was no longer the career for him. He studied for his Clinical Hypnotherapy qualifications with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis at their Manchester and Leeds venues and trained up to an advanced level which training included Ego-State Therapy, Time Line Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). He set up his practice in Lancaster where he established a good reputation as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, with many patients coming to him on the recommendation of former patients.

Commenced studying for his degree in Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He was an annual prize winner throughout his studies and qualified with honours from the Internationally acclaimed British College of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy) in London. He also qualified with a Diploma in Naturopathy with several papers being published in critically acclaimed journals.

Found the job both fascinating and rewarding. She have worked in various natural health care clinics across Central Scotland in associate and locum positions. This has given me invaluable experience not only from working with fellow osteopaths but from sharing knowledge with other healthcare practitioners as well. Outwith work She was a keen horse rider for many years and have been involved with the Pony Club and Riding for the Disabled Association. This has given me an insight not only into the common ‘aches and pains’ that can arise from the sport, whether they be from show jumping or mucking out, but also how horse riding can have a therapeutic role in certain conditions and disabilities."

Trained in Classical Homeopathy, which means using only one medicine at a time, giving it time to work and then monitoring improvement before the next step in the healing process. Each medicine works safely, gently and effectively ensuring the natural function of the person is restored. Care must be taken with a prescription to ensure a perfect match is made with the symptoms of a patient. This is the art of Homeopathy.
