About The Luxton Clinic

All forms of painful musculoskeletal conditions are treated by these experienced osteopaths at these two clinics located at Chinnor in Oxfordshire and Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire. Referrals are accepted from local GP practices and hospitals at the clinics. Patients of all ages are treated at the clinic. A detailed initial assessment is conducted and a treatment plan formulated. The team also provides exercise prescriptions and lifestyle advice to supplement osteopathic treatments. At your first appointment, a full medical history will be taken and details of your presenting condition. You will then be medically assessed and the appropriate treatment discussed with you and carried out. Subsequent appointments will involve treatment and continued discussion as to the progress of your presenting condition.

Mr Ian Luxton

Biography:

Ian is a qualified and registered osteopath. He began his health care career over twenty years ago and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of osteopathy and sports injuries. His patients range from business and trades people, to basketball players, dancers and musicians.

A keen sportsman himself he understands the demands that can be placed on the body through sporting activities, as well as the stresses and strains which can occur at any time whether it is through golf, gardening or working at a computer.

Ms Victoria Inglis-Smith

Biography:

Victoria is a qualified and registered Osteopath offering both structural and cranial Osteopathy. She has a  Masters degree in Paediatric Osteopathy and gained a vast amount of experience whilst working at The Osteopathic Centre for Children in London.

Victoria’s training and expertise ensures that she is competent to treat many different types of patient from rugby players to new born babies and mums-to-be.

Mrs Debby Luxton

Biography:

Debby provides a full podiatry and chiropody service. She is registered with the Health Professions Council and completed a three year Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatry.

As a podiatrist, Debby is interested in the ways that our feet and lower limbs contribute to our general quality of life. Our mobility has a significant impact on our daily lives; poor footwear or an incorrect gait can lead to long-term difficulties and pain that can affect the back, shoulders and other areas, as well our feet.

Debby is also a licensed Marigold Practitioner having trained in Marigold Therapy for Verrucae at the Royal London Hospital for Integrative Medicine.

Ms Beth Bennett

Biography:

Beth qualified from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick with a BA(Hons) First Class degree and a Licentiate of Acupuncture. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and comply with current UK health and safety legislation and the BAcC’s own Codes of Safe Practice and Professional Conduct. She also holds full medical malpractice and public liability cover, and is registered with the relevant local authorities to carry out acupuncture. Beth treats all her patients with the utmost respect, kindness, professionalism and confidentiality.
