Osteopathy
Cranial Osteopathy (1 hour) Osteopath Consultation The first treatment
will include a complete case history of the patient. With many questions regarding the health of the patient and their medical history. This is to ensure that osteopathic treatment is appropriate and that the techniques used are the best for the patient.
After this is done a thorough examination is made. At this point the patient is usually asked to undress to their underwear. This is to give the osteopath more information on posture, skin and muscle health and how the body functions. If the patient is uncomfortable with this they are more than welcome to wear shorts and a t-shirt. Patients are also welcome to bring a chaperone. (If under 18 patients need a chaperone anyway).
Miss Margaret Sinclair Biography: My name is Margaret Sinclair and I am a fully qualified osteopath, cranial osteopath and sport massage therapist. I trained at the British School of Osteopathy and I love my job. I also love being barefooted. I have since I was a child. So I spend most of my time either barefoot, or as near as I can get. Which is why I am often found wearing the toe shoes called Vibram Five Fingers™, especially when treating patients. It makes me more connected to the patient and the ground allowing me to be more effective as a therapist. Science and animals have been my first loves since a child leading my first degree to be in Zoology.
