About Jamie Last Osteopathy

Available for home visits throughout Lanzarote and in La Santa village at "Athletes Prepared By". UK qualified and registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council. 20 years experience treating in London working for Bupa Wellness. I also work at a triathlete training camp in Macher and from my home in Famara.

I specialise in the treatment of back pain, sciatica, sports injuries, arthritis relief, acupuncture, neck injury, migraine and headaches amongst others. I have a special interest in helping triathletes and cyclists here on the island and treat many professional athletes. I also provide sports massage and rehab advice as required. I am also a member of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association.

The Osteopath did an excellent job

5 50 Back Pain Treatment

I had a lot of pain in my back and at the sacroiliac joint. After several nights without sleep I looked for an osteopath and I found Jamie. After the treatment all my pain was gone. I have a lot of experiences with osteopaths in Germany so I can definitely say that Jamie knows what he is doing. He did an excellent job !! Thank a lot - you saved my holidays!

Knowledgable, careful and produces very good results

I trapped a nerve in my back two weeks ago whilst on holiday in Club La Santa, Lanzarote and went to Jamie for help. (He had previously “rescued” my neck and arm 4 years ago.)

The severe pain went through my hip and into my thigh. Two doctors on the island had misdiagnosed the cause of my symptoms. Jamie is knowledgable, careful and produces very good results. Now back in the UK, my great GP agrees totally with him and praises my progress.

Effective and good value for money

4.5 50 Acupuncture Treatment • Paid: 45 €

Attended Jamie's clinic after a gym injury. Excellent diagnosis by Jamie on the problem and possible causes. 3 sessions later and was back to full fitness. Service was professional, effective and good value for money. No hesitation in recommending Jamie.

Clinic was situated in village of La Santa, Lanzarote. Very easy to find, and although a small premises, was clean and well laid out. Staff could not have been more courteous or helpful. Highly recommended.

Biography:
GOsC certified Osteopath and myofascial acupuncturist with 18 years of experience. 12 years as one of only three Osteopaths directly employed by BUPA as part of their multidisciplinary musculoskeletal teams. 8 years working in onsite medical centres for leading financial institutions treating a variety of work related injuries, amateur and elite sports people and dealing with chronic pain conditions and occupational health. I have lectured and taught Osteopathic technique courses to BUPA therapists across the UK as well as giving talks to the general population on work related back pain. I have consulted for BUPA to formulate their treatment protocols for Osteopaths in the UK and I have helped put together guidelines for the screening of vertebro-basilar insufficiency for BUPA therapists. I have been recognized with all UK health insurance companies including PPP and BUPA for many years.
