Mr Ben McChesney

Biography:
Ben McChesney is an Australian trained (RMIT 2002) Osteopath with 10 years experience. 6 of these were spent in London, working with many clients and athletes at Pure Sports Medicine and other clinics. He also worked within Harrods occupational health department. Ben McChesney completed an MSc in sport and exercise rehabilitation at St Mary’s University (Twickenham, 2010), and worked as part of an internship program within premiership league Fulham Football Club. A diploma of Applied Functional Science followed in 2010, learning functional assessment and rehabilitation approaches from Gary Gray and Dr David Tiberio in Michigan, USA. Ben lectured in several UK based Osteopathic institutions on the topics of integrating functional biomechanics, assessment and rehabilitation with Osteopathy. Ben enjoys applying this knowledge to help get people out of discomfort and moving better. His aim with treatment is to create an individualised rehabilitation approach for the person, of any age or ability, relative to their goals whether it be doing a bit of gardening, walking, or getting back to enjoying a loved sport or activity.

Miss Sam Bombos

Biography:
One of Sam’s fondest memories as a child was collecting the “Your Human Body” magazine series: this sparked her initial fascination and curiosity for the human form. Fast forward to 2014 and Sam is an Australian-trained osteopath, having graduated from Victoria University. Alongside her clinical training, Sam also worked as a sports trainer at the grass roots level, lending her eyes and hands some valuable experience. She has a sneaky passion for education and has undertaken courses in both functional movement (Function 3X) and chronic pain (Beyond Mechanical Pain).

Mr Dougie Graham

Biography:
Dougie is an accredited Remedial Massage therapist who enjoys working with people, helping them recover from musculoskeletal injuries, aches, tightnesses or discomfort originating from both sporting and occupational causes. Previously, Dougie has worked briefly with athletes at the Australian Institute of Sport after being awarded a scholarship through the Australian Association of Massage Therapists. He currently is a Sports Trainer for The Melbourne Ice Hockey Team and prior to that was Head Trainer for the VWFL (St Kilda Sharks). Dougie’s approach is to identify and address the cause, not just treat the symptoms. Deep tissue, trigger point therapy, cupping and myofascial release (MFR) are just some of the techniques he uses. He also enjoys conducting research, continuing to develop and work towards being an exemplary therapist for his clients with the intent to inspire healthier lifestyles.
