Dr Ajesh Maharaj - Rheumatologist

I've been diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis. Have been seen by a specialist in PMB with no joy but Googled up a rheumatologist and found Prof Maharaj.

Been to him once and I had the most welcoming experience both from his receptionist to the doctor himself. Accommodating n is eager to assist in any way possible. I look forward to my other visits where I know dr Maharaj is going to make me better.

Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have and will continue to recommend anyone with Arthritis to go for treatment. Before starting this treatment I could barely manage to do any of the activities that were easy to me. The pain was unbearable. After starting treatment with Dr Maharaj, my life has returned to normal. yes there are painful moments but not unbearable and I have been able to continue with my life as normal. Definitely excellent value!

After numerous visits to gps with no avail, I had gone to a Rheumatoid Specialist who didn't really help me or explain to me what the rheumatoid was all about. My daughter in law then googled other specialist and found Dr Ajesh Maharaj. Our first visit was in August 2005...and I have not looked back since then. Not only as he helped with with prescribing the correct medication but he took the time to explain the causes and treatment of Rheumatoid not just me but my family too! Asha, his first contact, is an amazing soul who is so helpful and welcoming. She always goes that extra mile to make you feel special!
