• Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP): This treatment is administrated through three pairs of external inflatable cuffs that are applied around the lower legs, upper legs and buttocks; in accordance with cardiac rhythm. EECP using for Coronary Artery Diseases and Heart Failure Treatment, is a new treatment for Turkey but it’s being used more than 250 centers in USA.

Application Method:

Patient is treated as out-patient. After the treatment the patient appliance to doctor or emergency service decreases. EECP treatment schedule includes 35 days (7 weeks), applied as 5 or 6 days per week. During the treatment period patients are free to listen music or read somethings. The patients can return to their daily life and work. Further to the international studies, 88% of patients having an EECP treatment can feel the positive and useful effects during 5 years period.

Gürlife Hospital Neurology Department provides outpatient and inpatient diagnosis, treatment and follow-up services for a wide range of neurological diseases. Our hospital provide services in the fields of brain hemorrhage, headache, dizziness, cerebrovascular diseases, movement disorders, muscle and nerve diseases, epilepsy, alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis, stroke and sleep disorders, which are the field of our Neurology Department. When necessary, studies are carried out in close cooperation with the Radiology, Brain and Nerve Surgery Departments in our hospital. Examinations such as cranial tomography or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), echocardiography, extracranial doppler are applied to our patients. These results obtained contribute to the follow-up and treatment of our patients. EMG (electromioneurography) examination, which is a dynamic diagnostic method in the diagnosis of painful conditions such as lumbar and neck hernia, is performed in our electrophysiology laboratory to evaluate neuropathies that mostly occur with complaints such as hand and foot numbness. EEG (electroensopholography) examination, which is used for the purpose of differential diagnosis in many diseases of the central nervous system, sleep, wakefulness, especially epilepsy, can also be performed in our electrophysiology laboratory. Movement disorders, migraine therapy, spastic hemiparesis and paraparesis are also performed with USG and EMG. Trigger point injection therapy is applied for pain fibromyalgia.

Plastic surgeons respond to the needs of the branch such as deformities of genital organs, repair of severed limbs, in addition to aesthetic interventions such as facial deformities, cleft lip and palate in babies, deformities of the jaw and facial bones, breast aesthetic operations.

In the Department of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology

, immune system examinations of children aged 0-18, who have very frequent infections on the basis of immune (immune) deficiency (frequent upper respiratory tract infection, recurrent otitis media and pneumonia, etc.) and who have very severe infections are performed. The infection treatments and the replacement (immunoglobulin) treatments in the absence of humoral immunity of the diagnosed patients are performed and followed up.

Diagnosis and treatment of "allergic diseases", which is an increasingly important health problem in children and adults, are also carried out. In addition, information is provided on methods of protection from allergens.
