I am here today to say a big big thanks to Dr. Vikas Goswami from my side. I seriously got a new life…which is free from cancer just because of him. I had uterine cancer. I thought my life was over and more than myself I was worried about my kids. I couldn’t believe in the first place that I had cancer. But the reality was something else. I used to feel pain around the pelvic region. There was also some unusual vaginal bleeding. My periods would last for more than 10 days. I was so worried and scared all the time. I consulted my gynaecologist. I think some symptoms suggested it to be something serious. I was referred to Dr Goswami. Tests confirmed it was cancer. It was obviously a shock for us. But Dr Goswami made us realise that it could be treated. It has been more than 1.5 years and the condition is better now…I mean obviously it has been tough but at least I knew I was in safe hands. I still take a lot of precautions as the cancer can come back…but I must say I feel much better now and have slowly started retuning to a normal life with my kids, husband and family. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 years back. He was addicted to smoking. The entire family tried very hard for years to make him get rid of this bad habit.
