Earning a 4.0 and the honors of Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia College, Dr. Levine continued his education at Yale School of Medicine where he earned his medical degree. He graduated in the top 10% of his class, earning the honor of Cum Laude. He continued training in general surgery and then in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he still serves as an Assistance Clinical Professor of Surgery. Dr. Levine is also an Associate Adjunct Surgeon at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he completed an Aesthetic Fellowship.

He was one of the few plastic surgeons in NYC who was invited to the advanced aesthetic fellowship beyond his plastic surgery training. She is especially known for her dual certifications in medical and surgical pediatric dermatology, as well as adult cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery. One of the most respected dermatologists in the country, Dr. Levine is renowned for her keen diagnostic sense and comprehensive medical expertise. Her extensive knowledge of the most advanced aesthetic technologies and techniques combined with her intuitive eye and exceptional bedside manner allows Dr. Levine to help patients achieve natural-looking, beautiful results. Her specialties includes the use of lasers, cosmetic injectables, treatment for wrinkles, liposuction, surgery, and hair transplant.

Dr. Levine’s dual board certifications in dermatology and pediatrics makes her uniquely qualified to treat the entire family. She performs adult and child outpatient surgery and procedures in our state-of-the-art, in-office operating suite. Accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), the surgical suite is a convenient, private, and safe location for patient to receive cosmetic procedures, skin treatments, and hair restorations. A Columbia College alum, Dr. Levine earned a 4.0 GPA and the distinctions of Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. She continued her education at Yale School of Medicine and graduated with honors. Dr. Levine completed a pediatric residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and finished her formal education with a residency in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Prior to co-founding Plastic Surgery & Dermatology of NYC with her husband and plastic surgeon, Dr. Elie Levine, Dr. Jody Levine worked in private practice in Manhattan, was the Medical Director of a Medi-Spa, and served as Head of Pediatric Dermatology at Montefiore Hospital. In addition to her current position as the Director of Dermatology at Plastic Surgery and Dermatology of NYC, Dr. Levine is an Associate Adjunct Surgeon at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at The Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Is NYC Hair Restoration’s Head Consultant. He has more than 18 years of experience within the health and fitness industry. Richard started his career as an ACE certified personal trainer while studying Business Administrations at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. In 1995, he moved to Central Florida to continue his passion for health and wellness, effectively expanding into childhood obesity and sport specific training. As a result, his clientele grew significantly. He thoroughly enjoyed helping others achieve their fitness and weight loss goals. Richard later served as a Regional Director where he was influential in developing a wellness program for student development, and the model for providing chiropractic care within the fitness facilities.

Richard suffered with a receding hairline starting at the early age of 18. Worried that he looked older than his true age, he felt very self-conscious about his hair loss. After learning about hair transplant from a family member in 2006, he researched hair restoration options and quickly made an appointment for his first surgery, the Linear Strip Method. During this procedure, a strip of skin is surgically removed from the donor area. Each graft is manually dissected before being transplanted to the desired area. The results were good, but the recovery time was longer than he would choose to experience a second time.

Once NeoGraft became readily available, he knew he could finally have his second hair transplant procedure. This procedure was significantly less invasive. In less than two days he was back in action. This was life changing for Richard as he could now enjoy a completely natural and undetectable hair transplant without the staples and down time associated with the Linear Strip Method. After such wonderful results, Richard has been a whole-hearted advocate for hair transplants.
