He was a director of the Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Surgery from 2004 to 2009.
He is also a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and of the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons. He co-invented the Denicourt Cooling System (1997), named in honour of his former collaborator, the doctor in biophysics Normand Denicourt.
