• I graduated from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine as a Military Physician in 1975.

• Worked as a resident at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GMMA) from 1979-1983 and became the Chief resident 1983-1984 in the same department.

• Appointed as an Associate Professor in 1984.

• From 1985 to 1987, he worked as a Clinical Fellow at British Columbia University, Vancouver, CANADA under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Victor GOMEL, one of the founders of microsurgery and of the world's most famous laparoscopy specialists. During that time, he received education and training on reproductive endocrinology, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, microsurgery, and in vitro fertilization.

• On receiving the title of “Associate Professor” in 1987, he carried out studies on Reproductive Endocrinology, Laparoscopy-Hysteroscopy, Microsurgery, and In Vitro Fertilization at GMMA Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, and established these units within the hospital. He also trained many residents and specialists in these fields.

• Appointed as a Professor in 1993.

• In 2004, he was appointed as a member of the GMMA Supreme Council of Science under the GATA Act.

• Between 2002 and 2005, he founded a department for Reproductive Health and Family Planning Services under the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) and worked there. (As of 2004, 450 thousand soldiers, on average, are trained about reproductive health issues such as Family Planning, Maternal Care in Pregnancy, prevention from sexually transmitted diseases, and elimination of violence against women.)

• Participated in hundreds of conferences as speaker and moderator.

• Organized a total of 7 congresses, at both national and international levels; 5 congresses on Hysteroscopy and 2 congresses on IVF.

• With his hysteroscopy courses, he helped more than 1000 specialist physicians increase their knowledge and experience in this field.

• Played an active role in the establishment of the Turkish Association of Reproductive Surgery and In Vitro Fertilization.

• Prepared more than 150 articles published in national and international journals; presented more than 60 reports.

• Wrote 3 books and prepared sections of more than 20 books.

• Pabuçcu is one of the first Turkish physicians that completed the in vitro/tube baby education/training abroad and has been carrying on his studies on IVF and infertility since 1987. He helped thousands of families have children through laparoscopic, surgical or IVF treatments.

• For several years, he worked at the Assisted Reproductive Techniques Commission and the Assisted Reproductive Techniques Certification Exam Board under the Turkish Ministry of Health General Directorate for Mother and Child Care and Family Planning.

• Currently, he is the head of the department of the Halen Ufuk University School of Medicine Dr. Rıdvan Ege Hospital, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and also serves as the Director of the Centrum Ankara Tüp Bebek Merkezi (Tube Baby Center).

He completed an undergraduate degree at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 1977-1982, and at Ondokuz Mayis University Faculty of Medicine 1982-1984 and he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology between 1986-1990 in Ankara Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Training and Research Hospital.

He served his mandatory service in Kars, military service in Çorlu Military Hospital between 1990 and 1991 as a Gynaecology and Obstetrics Specialist.

After working at Obstetrics, Gynaecology, High-Risk Pregnancy units of Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Training and Research Hospital, she started to work at the IVF unit of ZTB, the first in vitro fertilization center of the Ministry of Health and he also actively participated in reorganization studies.

He received IVF and microinjection training in Belgium. He took part in various national and international meetings and conferences on IVF, Microinjection, Andrology, Hysteroscopy, and Laparoscopy.

For nearly 20 years, he studied on IVF and provided training.

Since the establishment of the Centrum Clinic in 2000, he has been working at the IVF Centre. He was a part of the IVF Sub Science Commission of the Ministry of Health and is currently the responsible manager of Centrum Clinic IVF Centre and in charge of ART (assisted reproductive technology).

Doc. Dr. Emre G. Pabuçcu was granted with his degree of Medicine from Ankara

University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. He continued to his specialty education under the

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the same university and became a gynecologist at

2010. He has served for his mandatory military service as a gynecology specialist under the

Command of the Office of Chief Surgeon of Girne Military Hospital in Cyprus, He

completed his mandatory community service at Karaman Hospital of Gynecology and

Pediatrics. He has received education on IVF at Houston Fertility Specialists IVF Center,

Houston-Texas and on gynecological endoscopy at Women Hospital of Texas

Endoscopic Surgery, Houston-Texas at the year of 2016. He’s been continuing to his

studies as an associate professor at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine Department of

Gynecology and Obstetrics. He’s also performing as a specialist at Hospital of Ufuk

University Faculty of Medicine and Centrum Clinic Women’s Health and IVF Center in

Ankara.

Semra Sertyel graduated from Middle East University, Department of Biology and became a part of the In Vitro Fertilisation Unit of Ankara Sevgi Hospital. In 2000, she played a role in the establishment of Istanbul Memorial Hospital IVF and Genetics Centre and was the head of the IVF Laboratories until 2007. Later, she helped establish HRS Gynaecology and Obstetrics Hospital IVF Laboratories and served as a laboratory supervisor until the end of 2009. Between 2009 and 2014, she worked as a laboratory supervisor of Taksim German Hospital IVF Laboratories.

Taking part in a lot of publications and presentations, Sertyel, together with her team, broke many new grounds in Turkey for such practices as endometrial co-culture, intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection, vitrification method, embryo freezing, and thawing. Sertyel has been involved in many national and international studies on male infertility, preimplantation genetic diagnostics, embryo culture systems and quality control standardization of in vitro fertilization laboratories. She is currently employed at Ankara Centrum IVF Centre.
