I went to the clinic to ask about ovocyte freezing (vitrification).

I was very pleased with my experience at the clinic. Many members of the staff spoke good English and explained everything very well. They were all very friendly and nice, respectful and very professional.

During our email exchanges, they took the time to answer all of my questions and were very accommodating regarding appointment dates and times.

I had a very good impression of the doctors I saw, I really felt like they cared about their patients and wanted to give the best possible care. They explained everything they were going to do, and explained their diagnosis, and gave me sensible recommendations.

I intend to return to this clinic for any gynecological treatment or pregnancy follow-up and would recommend it to anyone.

Egg Freezing

Egg freezing procedure is performed in some conditions such as fertility preservation in cancer patients, diminished ovarian reserve and presence of  family history of premature ovarian failure. The Fee for medications used to stimulate the ovaries doesn't include this price. 

The fee for medications will depend on the ovarian reserve and response, but approximately it will cost around 1500-2000 TL.

 

Embryo Freezing (Cryoprotectant)

Sperm/egg donation and surrogacy are strictly prohibited by legislation in Turkey. IVF treatment using her own eggs is performed only in woman less than 46-year old at our Centre. We have a very successful freezing program.  The pregnancy rates achieved with frozen replacement cycles are in the range of 60-65%.  We only freeze at the blastocyst stage (Day 5 or 6).  The price of 1600 TL applies for 1 tube.  An additional 400 TL are charged for additional tube(s).

ICSI - Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection

The fee applies for all aspects of an ICSI cycle, including stimulation of the ovaries, the laboratory procedures, ICSI by itself and embryo transfer.  We tend to do near exclusively blastocyst stage (day 5) embryo transfer.  This permits maximization of live birth rates.  The only missing item in this fee is cost of medications used to stimulate the ovaries and the cryopreservation of surplus embryos, if available.

The fee for medications will depend on the ovarian reserve and response, but approximately it will cost around 1500-2000 TL.

PGD - Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis

We are proud of our PGD and PGS (screening) treatment plans.  We offer PGS mainly for women with advanced maternal age (>38 yr-old) but also for recurrent implantation failure and recurrent miscarriage.  We do blastocyst stage (Day 5/6) biopsy for this purpose.  We used the most valid genetic testing (Next Generation Sequencing-high resolution-NGS-hr) for this purpose.  We also do pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) for genetic diseases as well as for numerical/structural chromosomal errors (translocations).

This fee includes embryo biopsy and time-lapse incubation (highest technology in vitro culture) and freezing of only 1 embryo.  An additional 800 TL is charged for additional biopsied embryo.

We have extensive experience in performing surgical retrieval of spermatozoa with more than 2500 cases performed.  The successful retrieval of spermatozoa in obstructive cases is around 100% and 50-55% for non-obstructive azoospermia cases.  We published the third largest ever published series in the world regarding our TESE experience in patients with azoospermia and chromosomal errors (Klinefelter syndrome).

Biography:

Professor Hakan Yarali, MD is the Scientific Director of Anatolia IVF Center, Ankara, Turkey.  Following medical school and residency training at Hacettepe University, he did his clinical fellowship at University of British Columbia, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Vancouver, Canada during 1991-1992.  Dr. Yarali has published over 100 original articles, reviews and book chapters, has delivered several presentations, lectures and conferences worldwide.  Dr. Yarali is a reviewer of many international journals.  Dr. Yarali has received several national and international awards including the most promising young scientist in Turkey in 1998 by the Turkish Scientific, Technical and Research Council which is the most prestigious research council in Turkey.  He was the former president of Turkish Society of Reproductive Medicine (TSRM).  He has organized several national and international meetings.  His special interests are all aspects of clinical IVF.  He is directing Anatolia IVF, which is the busiest IVF Center in Ankara performing over 1600 cycles annually.

She completed her master's degree in Reproduction and Cancer Biology Department of John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in USA between 2011 and 2012. She thereafter completed a 2-year master's program in Clinical Embryology and Andrology at Eastern Virginia Medical School at Norfolk, US, which has achieved the first IVF baby in US. She has been working in Anatolia IVF since 2012.
