Certified Gynaec Endoscopic surgeon (ETCA, Belgium). Certified in Reproductive Medicine and surgery (King Abdul Aziz University Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia). Dr. Sajira Jafar Punathil graduated (MBBS) from Govt. Medical College, Calicut,Kerala,India and acquired Master of Surgery (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), DGO from Govt. Medical College Calicut. She developed a keen interest in infertility management and Gynaecology Endoscopic Surgery. She did her Diploma in Reproductive Medicine and embryology from University of Kiel (Germany with First Rank) and also Diploma in Gynaec Endoscopic Surgery from University of Kiel (Germany). She did two years clinical training in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) from King Abdul Aziz University Hospital, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is a certified Gynaecology Endoscopic Surgeon .She worked in ZNA Campus Stuivenberg Hospital, ZNA Elizabeth Hospital and ZNA Erasmus Hospital Antwerp, Belgium in Gynaec Endoscopic surgery under Prof. Bruno Van Herendael -world renowned Gynaec Endoscopic Surgeon, The head of M/s Endoscopic Training Centre Antwerp (ETCA), Belgium. She undergone one month hands on training in Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART) at M/s Melbourne IVF centre under Dr. Manish Banker of M/s Pulse Women's Hospital ,Ahmedabad ,Gujarat ,India. She attended short term course in Advanced Gynaec Laparoscopic surgery conducted by Dr. Hafiz Rahman ,M/s Sun rise Hospital ,Cochin,Kerala,India. She had six months certificate course in Ultrasound training in infertility, Gynaecology and Obstetrics from King Abdul Aziz University Hospital, Jeddah. She has Membership of Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology MRCOG (Part1).She had formerly worked as a senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department in Govt. Medical College, Calicut. Her positive attitude to adapt to challenges, coupled with her ability to bring in sincerity and hard work are her strengths to achieve the professional excellence.
