During his professional training as a gynecologist and obstetrician at the University Hospital Leipzig, Dr. List dealt with the issue of infertility and assisted and treated under the guidance of Prof. Henry Alexander many couples. During his PhD he focused particularly on the analysis and evaluation of different stimulation protocols in the context of IVF treatments.

After his residency in 1999, Dr. List specialized in the field of gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine with Prof. Dr. Hanns-Kristian Rjosk in Munich, an expert in the field of prolactin hormone research and then chairman and co-founder of the German IVF Registry (DIR). He then worked in fertility clinic Saarbrücken, in the fertility clinic Fertility Center in Leipzig and Frankfurt am Main, where Dr. List led the Infertility Clinic of Prof. Eberhard Merz, an internationally recognized specialist in prenatal medicine. Since January 2009, Dr. List is part of the medical team of the Infertility Clinic Fleet Island Hamburg.
