What a great experience with Praga Medica

After initial testing we knew we were not able to conceive, so we decided to go for Donor Egg treatment. After frustrating experiences with donor banks in the US, we decided to reach out to Praga Medica for help.

After the initial consultation and in-person interview with the doctor we felt at ease and reassured that this was the right place to convene for us. The staff made the process so easy and transparent. Everything was planned out for us. The clinic was lovely with friendly staff, everyone was kind and helpful. All our questions were answered. We conceived with twins that are due in summer.

We had IVF treatment with donor egg in 2017. Our 3 previous IVF (in Poland, with our eggs) were unsuccessful and very, very stressful. Preparations were painful too. We decided to choose this treatment. For good value in our opinion.

I remember we had about 67% chances and if it's successful 25% for twins. We have twins now!

Praga Medica offered us very friendly, personal consultant (Blanka), happy to talk to us anytime. The clinic was willing to help in accommodating too.

The approach was decisive, I think. How much we can give you, how easy it is, etc. Everything seemed simple and it was.

First visit - 1 night only. For the 2nd visit, we decided to stay in Prague for 8 days in the apartment (good value again). There's so much to do in this city to reduce the stress and have fun! We had treatment and nice holidays!

Highest mark not because it was successful, but because they were: professional, friendly, understanding and helpful. They didn't fail in anything.

IVF with donor eggs

Such a lovely clinic - Blanka was an absolute star from start to finish. She patiently answered my never ending questions and has been a fabulous support from my very first contact with her - and ongoing.... We had our transfer with Dr Monika who was efficient and really made us feel like we were in safe hands (and the actual transfer was totally pain free- I was still waiting for something to hurt, when she said 'ok, all done'!!!!. Lovely clinic and they helped us with everything in terms of travel / accommodation etc. Fabulous. I was recommended to use them and I would recommend them to anyone who is totally disillusioned with long waiting lists and extortionate costs in the UK.

We had IVF treatment here. Unfortunately, they were unable to harvest my eggs.

Overall a very professional setup. We had an English speaking coordinator who was able to help translate with the medical staff.

After going through multiple IVF treatments in the US and then multiple IVF-ICSI treatments in other countries; we finally found Praga Medica-GEST. I wish words could accurately describe how much we appreciate GEST IVF and Dr. Monika. We had IVF with a 2 donated embryo's in June 2016. After 8 years of failure after failure, we were finally blessed with our healthy baby girl on March 7, 2017. We could never put a dollar amount on our happiness. But, we did spend less than 1/4 of what we spent on treatments in the US (travel expenses included). Plus, the process was so much smoother. I truly believe we were meant to find this clinic.

We ultimately chose Praga Medica/GEST because of the fact they were able to perform IVF with donated embryo's and the process was much smoother. We immediately felt at ease with our coordinator Blanka. She answered my questions promptly and concisely. She was amazing. Our first visit went smoothly, the transfer the next day was easier than we've ever experienced before, and our results were positive with our healthy baby girl born in March 2017.

Overall experience with the treatment was a very pleasant surprise. Everything went smoothly because our doctor Alexander with his knowledge and professionalism made our treatment understandable and relaxed. He took his time to explain all of our questions and concerns. Really nice doctor.

Our coordinator Anna did the best job. She is super nice and very easy to work with. From the moment when I contacted her, she was on the top of everything. She will reply to the emails right away and in Prague, she even gave us her number to call her if we need something.

I highly recommend this Gest Clinic. From the moment I contacted them to end everything happened so fast. They are very efficient and professional. The clinic is very nice, clean and well organized.

We traveled from the USA and not only did we get pregnant on our first try but we loved the city of Prague. Since the clinic gives you a little book with all the schedule appointments you have plenty of time to enjoy the city.

The clinic is a little outside of the city centre, 10-15min depending on where you are you staying, but the Uber is very cheap and there are no crazy traffic on the streets.

I highly recommend this clinic. You don’t have to worry about anything, you can just follow their suggestions and relax as much as possible and they will make it happen.

My partner and I decided to go for donor egg treatment having been disappointed with different methods in the past, with the knowledge this was an option that maximized our chances of success. Prague was highly reviewed when we researched online and that was a big factor in making our choice as well as the costs when compared with home. The clinic (IVF Europe) was easy to access just on the outskirts of Andel where there are a large shopping center and all manner of transport available outside.

Once we arrived and met the lovely Dr. Lucie we felt there was a genuine interest in making this work for us and we felt very positive every time we visited. The clinic itself is very clean and modern with all of the technology and equipment you would expect at home. The staff we came across could not have been nicer, very warm and friendly people. We were accompanied at all times by our personal representative from Praga Medica, this made the process all the easier and comfortable as anything we had maybe not grasped was fully explained in detail, we always felt there was no question we could not have answered for us, unfortunately, something we did not experience in our own country.

I am very excited to say we are in the early stages of pregnancy and feeling very good about our road ahead. All in all we can truly say Praga Medica and the wonderful team at IVF Europe made what can be a very emotionally draining journey so much easier and we are very happy with the decision we made and will be recommending to our friends or family looking to try the same path.

With really positive reviews and with prices and available options considered it was not a hard choice to choose Praga Medica for our treatment. Our first contact (Email) was answered swiftly by the lovely Jana, any questions we had or advice and she was on hand. Once we made our decision to travel to Prague Jana inquired if we required assistance with transport, accommodation etc.

When we first arrived at our clinic (IVF Europe) we received a warm welcome, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Our first consultation was very good with Dr. Lucie and we knew of the above average success rates at this clinic, but added to this was a very professional, thoughtful and friendly attitude toward us, all of which really helped to put us at some level of ease as this is such a nervy time in any persons life. We can never thank Praga Medica enough for everything during our whole process, it is such a difficult time emotionally and physically and having people like Jana and her lovely colleagues Veronika and Lucy made that process so much more pleasant and easy for both of us. We are so grateful for the attention and fantastic work of Dr. Lucie and her team in truly helping us make a dream come through.

Beautiful Prague and Praga Medica have proven to be the best decision we have made in years. It is still early days for us but we are remaining very positive for the months ahead.Thank you so much for everything Jana and all at Praga medica & IVF Europe from the bottom of our hearts.

My wife and I had been trying for a baby unsuccessfully for 4 years. Via various tests in the UK, we were both diagnosed with conditions that meant natural conception would be very unlikely. In 2013 we conceived via IVF on the UK NHS system but the pregnancy did not go to term.

We started investigating various options both in the UK and abroad. Praga Medica and GEST stood out from the crowd not only because of the price but their uncomplicated presentation of information and treatment options. We decided to take the plunge with Praga Medica and GEST with IVF ICSI treatment as they were up front, informative and extremely helpful and communicative not to mention extremely sensitive to our situation - despite the many couples they were treating we still felt our needs were number one to them.

Obviously experience is a reflection of the outcome and in this case yes our treatment at GEST via Praga Medica resulted in a healthy baby girl. But even if the result was not positive I cannot fault the clinic. We were personally dealt with by Lucie and Blanka who were absolutely lovely. They were there for it all, for all our treatment and countless silly questions, organizing all the logistics and taking care of the little things during what was a stressful and nervous time for us. The staff and GEST were wonderful also, friendly and professional and the environment relaxed despite it being a clinic. Also being minutes from central Prague either by taxi or tram was very useful and comforting.

We were fortunate to have 6 extra healthy embryos (which we couldn’t produce via NHS) that have been frozen and we would not hesitate to return for treatment for a second baby or offer for surrogacy. Words can’t express our gratitude to Praga Medica and GEST.

My partner and I knew that we would have a nearly impossible time conceiving naturally due to my age (43). After meeting with the fertility doctor here, we realized that IVF would be out of reach due to the staggering cost that we would be paying out of pocket. We started looking around and discovered Praga Medica/Gest Clinic. Veronika answered our many questions and after our Skype consult with Dr. Alexander, we knew we had made the right choice.

My partner flew out initially and a month and a half later, I flew out with my mum. I would highly recommend the transportation package as after several long flights, we were in no shape to navigate public transport. Jan picked us up and offered us several tips and suggestions to make our stay smoother.

The clinic itself is a lovely, peaceful facility nestled in a residential area. Everyone there was kind and helpful. My initial meeting was straight forward and really put me at ease. Veronica contacted me after the transfer to update me on the embryo development and on the transfer day, we had two five day blastocysts transferred.

After getting home, I went in for my blood test (just yesterday) and found out we had success!! Needless to say, we are thrilled beyond belief and are so looking forward to growing our family. We know that this is only possible because of the skill and kindness of everyone involved! Thank you, Veronika, Lucie, Dr. Alexander and all of the staff at Guest Clinic!

The greatest gift.

We had been trying for well over 3 years and after becoming completely frustrated with doctors in Ireland and wondering if we would ever have a baby, we went in search of an IVF clinic abroad. I emailed several of the clinics in various countries through What clinic and from the responses we knew best IVF through Praga Medica was the only place for us. We were nervous about speaking to people in other countries and cautious of it costing more than advertised, but from the first email and phone call, they made us feel relaxed and confident.

Lucie explained it all to us and the costs involved without any pressure but when we hung up the phone we knew we were going ahead because in one phone call we were 1000 times more hopeful about having a baby than we had been in a long long time. From there communication was fantastic and we traveled over to meet our doctor, Monika, get fully assessed for our requirements, set our dates and collect medication. The clinic was small and private, which we loved because it gave us the feeling that they were totally focused on the patients, unlike the hospitals we had been to.

Once home again Lucie talked us through everything via email and skype/phone so everything was done right until we arrived back in Prague. Once in Prague, we had our appointment to check up if everything was in order and plan the next steps, it was all very organized and certain so we felt very comfortable which is important in such a delicate process. We then underwent the stages of IVF, again being made very comfortable and relaxed throughout with nonstop communication from Lucie, also answering any questions I emailed her from our apartment. Once our eggs were retrieved and fertilized Lucie updated us as to how they were doing and what day we would be back in for a transfer. We went in and had the transfer and waited 3 days, by our own choice, I think two is recommended, before flying home.

IVF was a tough process for my wife Leighann, have no doubt about that, there is some pain involved with the retrieval but Lucie made us very aware of what was involved and her support made it a lot more relaxing than it could have been. We didn't think we could have a child because doctors here in Ireland couldn't diagnose any actual medical issue and were completely wasting our time whilst we became more and more stressed about it all. Gest Ivf met us and told us what they would do, there was no maybe this or that, just clearly, this is what we will do and this is our success rate. The assertiveness of doctor Monika nearly made our Jaws drop but we left saying, that lady knows what she is doing and doesn't waste anyone's time.

So anyway we traveled home and waited with a great struggle until the day we were told to do a pregnancy test and that magical blue line appeared and we did two more because we really didn't believe it. If you are wondering about doing IVF and looking at clinics then look no further, this is the clinic. Eternally grateful.

We decided to go for Donor Egg treatment, after conculting our IVF results in the UK, and believed that FET Guarantee through Praga Medica would give us our best chance. We appreciated affordability, short waiting time, the possibility to choose a donor and the anonymity they could offer.

We had a fantastic experience with Praga Medica (IVF Europe). They kept us very well informed, answered all our questions or requests fast. Although I'm Slovak, mu husband is English and Veronika's communication, since she was our main point of contact between us and the clinic, was excellent. We appreciated her friendly approach and the encouragement she gave us.
The clinic is clean and modern with professional medical staff and I am happy to say that we were successful on our first attemp, twin pregnancy, 10 weeks.

After a number of miscarriages we decided to seek help from a professional fertility clinic in the UK. However, this did not go very well and we were seriously let down and treated very poorly. We then decided to look into our options elsewhere and discovered Praga Medica (GEST IVF). We were initially a bit daunted by the idea of travelling abroad for embryo adoption but decided to get in touch and explore the possibility further. We were bowled over by the postitivity and quickness of their responses, in contrast to our experience with UK-based centres, and a clear plan of action with our representative Jana and Dr Alexander was rapidly agreed. Jana answered all our questions and made everything straight forward and easy, she also helped with transport and accommodation and we quickly found ourselves on a plane to Prague for our initial consultation with Dr Alexander. The whole trip was fantastic and Praga Medica (GEST IVF) took all the stress out of the process. We highly recommend their transport package which includes a friendly driver to take you to and from the airport and to all your appointments at the clinic. In addition, Prague is an amazing city, very friendly and safe and a fantastic place to explore. Our second visit for embryo transfer went just as well and stress free and two weeks later we have our positive pregnancy test. We couldn’t recommend Praga Medica (GEST IVF) highly enough. Don’t be put off by having to travel abroad for treatment as you will be supported through the whole journey and it has been a very smooth, positive experience for us all the way. I wish we had got in touch with Praga Medica (GEST IVF) at the beginning of our IVF journey it would have saved us a lot of time and stress and money.

Our first cycle of treatment was successful in Praga after we had 8 failed cycles in the UK.

It was totally different experience to the UK but we had the result we have always wanted.
