One Fertility - Mississauga

He is a Canadian certified Reproductive Medicine Specialist. She was located in Oakville for 4 years. Dr. Cockwell was born in Montreal, Quebec and in the early eighties, her family moved to Oakville. Before completing her Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University, she attended Saint Mildred’s in Oakville and graduated with honors. For her medical degree, she attended University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario followed by Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. There she completed her five year residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. At Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she pursued an additional two years of fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. This was of course, after successfully completed her Royal College exams. She and her family decided to return to Oakville despite their love for the east coast, to be closer to family. At Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Dr. Cockwell is on staff in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at McMaster University. He has an active interest in medical education and research and has presented at both provincial and national conferences. She has given numerous CME talks, both in the Mississauga and Oakville areas. She has a particular interest in recurrent pregnancy loss and advanced laparoscopy for fertility management and microsurgery.
