We are both forty, and I have secondary infertility from two ectopic pregnancies, as well as being diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis. The first full cycle (Nov 14) was a disaster, second cycle (Jan 15), we got a positive result only to lose it at eight weeks, but we had success after the next transfer (Jun 15), and are now sixteen weeks pregnant. We used ICSI and embryo glue for transfers. We were successful with our treatment, so yes, we're pleased with the service.
My GP recommended Pivet and Fertility North. Fertility North had a five-month waiting list, and Pivet's was only five weeks and was much closer to home, which is such an important issue for your early morning bloods test, etc. Dr. Borude was very nice and sent us for numerous blood tests, a pelvic scan, and sperm analysis. The practice is very busy and you need to allow for this, especially if you're going to work after doctor appointments, and they double booked my appointment on more than one occasion. I found most staff friendly and Jan, Claire, and Chris who take your blood are simply wonderful. It's very expensive, as everything is billed as an extra, but they do use cutting-edge technology, and to quote a staff member, they "don't give up on women".
