He is the clinical director and his qualifications are: MB, BCh (UK), DRCOG, FRANZCOG, MRepMed. He is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist. He consults in all aspects of gynaecology but his main interests are in the management of infertility, advanced minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy) and endometriosis care. He manages the Incontinence and Urodynamic Unit at Glengarry Private Hospital. He studied medicine in Cardiff, UK and specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology after training in Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide. He also completed the Masters of Reproductive Medicine degree from the University of New South Wales.

He is a Fertility Specialist and his qualifications are: MBBS, MRCOG(UK), CCT(UK), CGES, FRANZCOG. He was trained in the UK (London and Birmingham) as a Gynaecologist with special interest in advanced endoscopy surgery and infertility and assisted reproduction. He practiced as a Consultant in London Fertility and Gynaecology Centre, Harley Street, London, prior to migrating to Perth. In addition to his extensive obstetrics and gynaecology experience, Dr Baruah has firmly established himself as a renowned and trusted name in the Perth area in the field of Assisted Reproduction. He is well-known among his peers for his keen interest in minimally invasive gynaecology and he is proficient for performing a wide range of advanced laparoscopic( level 5/6) and hysteroscopic surgery. He is also a BSCCP (UK) and ASCCP accredited Colposcopist. He has another interest in pelvic ultrasound scan for gynaecological problems.
