We'll look for any early signs of cataracts, glaucoma and other conditions. Problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and vascular disease can also be detected, as the eye can give clues to general health as well as eye conditions.The optometrist will advise you if any vision correction will be needed, or whether a new prescription is required. All professional staff are fully qualified and are very experienced in their own relevant fields. They are also registered with the General Optical Council, Harley Street, London. The Optometrist will examine your eyes to ensure that your ocular health is good and to assess your vision and then they will discuss with you their findings and recommend any spectacles or further treatments. The Dispensing Optician will take your spectacle prescription and will advise the best lenses to correct your vision and the best product for your lifestyle such as sunglasses or sports glasses or safety spectacles. The practice makes use of up to date equipment such as the Optomap digital retinal scan. We can prescribe and fit all types of contact lenses and spectacles

This ophthalmological practice has two clinics, one in Rugby and the other in Wellingborough in Northamptonshire and the other in Rugby in Warwickshire. Services available at both the clinics are eye tests and providing suitable eye wear for the unique needs of each individual patient. Eye wear for all styles and budgets are available at the clinics. The clinics also offer a wide range of contact lens options. Types of contact lenses available include daily disposables, varifocal designs, toric lenses and rigid gas permeables.
