Rhinoplasty

It is aesthetic surgery in which the external structure of the nose is reshaped and at the same time anatomical problems that cause breathing problems are corrected.

Rhinoplasty

While the nose is usually reduced during rhinoplasty, small noses can be enlarged in patients of African and Asian origin. In my practice, when shrinking the nose, I usually remove the hump of the nose first. I first thin the wide nasal bones with the help of an electric tool called TUR/Drill at the level of the nasal-facial junction, then cut them with an electric surgical instrument called 'Piezo', make them mobile and narrow them.

TUR/Drill:

It is an electrical surgical instrument that is mostly used in ear surgeries, but has recently become popular in rhinoplasty as well, and is used to shape the bones by rasping them. 

Piezo

It is one of the methods used during the bone cutting process. In addition to providing less bruising and swelling in the postoperative period, the main advantage of its use is; it is to make the bone fracture more controlled and to reduce the undesirable results in the long term.
