Dr. Styles has 40 years of experience as a doctor having spent 25 years as a Senior Family Medicine Clinician in the UK. 

He was an Examiner of the Royal College of General Practitioners for 20 years and the General Medical Council of the UK for 8 years. His past appointments include being an external examiner to an American medical school, a development consultant to the Kuwait government, and a lecturer in post-graduate medicine. He has spent many years in the assessment and development of standards in Family Medicine. 

From 2003 to 2006 he successfully directed an EU project in Ukraine developing family medicine, and still works as a consultant to Conseil Sante in the international development of family medicine. 

Dr. Styles was appointed to the AMC Kyiv Family Physician department in January 2008 and was appointed Medical Director in July 2011. He is responsible for bringing international standards of practice to all clinics in the AMC group and closely monitors and supervises those standards.

Dr. Kartashova graduated with distinction from the Kharkiv National Medical University and in 2006 completed her internship in Family and Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Kartashova submitted and sat for her Ph.D. Thesis in 2012, specializing in Gastroenterology and Metabolic Disorders.

She has attended various Continuing Medical Education workshops in Ukraine and abroad including the 2011 Salzburg-Columbia medical seminars in Internal Medicine (Salzburg, Austria) and the 2016 Harvard Medical School CME seminar in Primary Care Internal Medicine (Boston, Massachusetts, USA) and the 2017 CPR (ACLS), organized by the American Heart Association.

Dr. Kartashova is primarily interested in diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, hypertension, immunology, psychosomatic, functional medicine, and nutrigenetics. She joined AMC in 2012 and speaks English, Russian, and Ukrainian fluently.

Mark Gizov graduated from Kharkiv National Medical University in 2008 and completed his clinical studies and internship in Surgery at the Donetsk National Medical University in 2011. Soon after he has received specializations in Family Medicine and Urology.

Dr.Gizov has more than eight years of experience working as a Surgeon, Family Physician, and Urologist at both State and Private clinics.

In 2013, Dr. Gizov spent 8 months in various charitable medical missions in Nicosia, Cyprus, where he worked pro-bono as a Family Physician and Surgeon for the poor and refugees.

Among his professional interests are complex cases of the gastrointestinal tract, kidney, urinary tract, male infertility, sexually transmitted diseases, allergic reactions, rheumatology, and hypertension.

Dr.Gizov is an author of numerous articles in Urology and Andrology for professional medical editions. He joined AMC in 2016, is fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Greek.

Dr. Naboichenko graduated with distinction from Kharkiv National Medical University, and in 2012 completed his internship with a specialization in Neurosurgery. 

Dr. Naboichenko has worked as the attending Neurosurgeon in the Emergency Medicine and Multiple Trauma Department at Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital, and as a lecturer at the Kharkiv National Medical University. 

At present, Dr. Naboichenko is continuing his post-graduate studies at the Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery in Kyiv. His main professional interests are headaches, pain syndromes of the head and neck region, Neuro-Oncology, and Neuroscience. He speaks English, Russian, and Ukrainian fluently.

AMC Kyiv is proud to introduce Dr. Kyrylo Poznyak-Haraburda to AMC Kyiv’s Family Practice Department.

Originally from Kyiv, Dr. Poznyak received his MD degree at Ukrainian State Medical University with further postgraduate degrees in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. Previously employed with AMC from 1999-2002, Dr. Poznyak went on to become the Medical Officer and Lead Physician at the US Embassy Health Unit in Kyiv, where he has directed operations since 2002.

Dr. Poznyak is an ACLS provider and BLS instructor and has earned numerous Foreign Service certificates and achievements, to include Primary Care and Internal Medicine CME credits and Board review courses from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, and Partners Healthcare (Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston). 

Dr. Chernyshova graduated with distinction from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2002 and completed her clinical studies and internship in the Paediatric Department at Kyiv Hospital Number 6 in 2004.

From 2005 to 2015, Dr. Chernyshova was an Assistant Professor at Bogomolets National Medical University, responsible for the Pediatric course in the Family Medicine Department. 

In 2004, Dr. Chernyshova participated in a Pediatric Gastroenterology seminar program in Salzburg, Austria, and in 2008 at the University Hospital of Grats, Austria. 

Dr. Chernyshova joined AMC in 2006 and has been credited with writing over fifty scientific papers. Dr. Chernyshova is fluent in English, German, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Dr. Feilo graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2003 and furthered her studies in Pediatrics and Medical Genetics at the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

Dr. Feilo joined AMC in 2010, after working for five years (from 2004 to 2009) at the Kyiv City Children’s Clinical Hospital Number One. 

Dr. Feilo has participated in various Continuing Medical Educational programs and conferences in Ukraine and Europe, speaks English, Russian, and Ukrainian fluently.

Dr. Siladi graduated from the Bukovinian State Medical University (Chernivtsi, Ukraine) in 2006 and furthered his studies in Pediatrics and Children’s Immunology at the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

From 2008, Dr. Siladi has worked as a Pediatrician at the Infectious Department in Ohkmatdyt Children’s Hospital. In 2014, Dr. Siladi completed his Pediatric Life Support training organized by the European Resuscitation Council in Krakow, Poland. 

Dr. Siladi speaks English, Ukrainian, and Russian fluently, and has been practicing at American Medical Centers Kyiv since 2011.

Ludmila Dobrovenko graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2008 and soon after completed her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

In 2010, Dr. Dobrovenko attended an advanced course of treatment of children with acquired immunodeficiency at the Ohkmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv. In 2016 she visited the Annual Pediatric Conference in Charlottetown, Canada, organized by the Canadian Pediatric Society. Dr. Dobrovenko is specialized in newborns, functional disorders, treatment of the gastrointestinal tract, and has significant experience working with adopted children.

From 2010 to 2015 Dr. Dobrovenko worked at the State Children’s Hospital #1 in Izmail, Ukraine, and in 2016 joined American Medical Centers. Dr. Dobrovenko speaks English, Ukrainian, and Russian fluently.

Lyudmila Melnyk graduated with distinction from the Bogomolets National Medical University in Kyiv. She submitted her Ph.D. thesis in 1986, on the subject of “The Rehabilitation of Women’s Reproductive Functions after the Recovery of Inflammatory Diseases”. 

From 1981 to 1995 Dr. Melnyk performed a wide range of gynecological and obstetrics operations for high-risk patients at the State Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology in Kyiv. Later, she became the Head of the Women’s Reproductive Health Department of the hospital.

Dr. Melnyk worked for 3 years in Libya and has attended certificate courses at the Whittington Hospital in London, England, and the Austin Medical Institute in Texas, USA. Most recently, Dr. Melnyk was selected to attend the Salzburg – Cornell Seminar in Obstetrics and Gynecology, sponsored by the American-Austrian Foundation. 

Chief Gynecologist at AMC, Dr. Melnyk joined in 1996 and is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Maryna Storozhuk received her specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Vinnytsya National Medical University in 2009 sitting for her Ph.D.Thesis in 2013.

Since 2009, Dr. Storozhuk has worked at various public and private outpatient and inpatient clinics in Vynnytsya Ukraine. She specializes in minor gynecological surgery, hyperplasia, and prenatal care.

Dr. Storozhuk is the author of numerous scientific articles and has done her CME both in Ukraine and abroad. Maryna speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian fluently and is now taking appointments at AMC Kyiv.

Dr. Situkho graduated from the Donetsk Medical University in 2001, and soon after received his specialization in adult and pediatric otolaryngology. From 2003 to 2014 Dr. Situkho worked at the ENT – Head and Neck Surgery Department of Institute of Urgent and Reconstructive Surgery in Donetsk.

Dr. Situkho has had extensive training experience in France, Austria, Great Britain, and Georgia. 

At present, Dr. Situkho is working as a Research Associate at the Otolaryngology Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences. His specialized clinical interests are middle ear surgery, vertigo, and pediatric otolaryngology. He is fluent in English, French, Ukrainian, and Russian languages.

Dr. Nepomyashcha graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 1990 and had her Internship in Dermatology and Venereology at the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases. Dr. Nepomyashcha has more than 25 years of practical working experience in Dermatology and joined AMC in 2003.

In 2015 Dr. Nepomnyashcha visited the World Congress of Dermatologists in the USA, and continuously improves her skills and qualifications by attending CME pieces of training in Cosmetology, Dermatology, Venereology, and Laser Therapy in Europe and the USA.

Dr. Nepomyashcha has the highest category licensure and provides Dermatoscopic examination of patients to identify and monitor skin neoplasms, melanomas, and skin cancers. Dr. Nepomyashcha is fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.

Dr. Chernyshov received the specialization of Dermatology at the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2000 and presented his Ph.D. Thesis in 2004. 

In 2008 Dr. Chernyshov was selected to the Erasmus Mundus program and carried out postdoctoral researches at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Vilnius University (Lithuania). Dr. Chernyshov has been a guest lecturer at the Congresses of Dermatologists in Argentina, Czech Republic, Canada, and Denmark. 

In 2012 he was elected to the Board of Directors of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology as a representative of Ukrainian Dermatologists. Dr. Chernyshov annually takes part in Continuing Medical Educational programs in Greece, Austria, Germany, and Great Britain.

Dr. Chernyshov has the highest category licensure and has been credited with writing over 140 scientific papers for Ukrainian and international medical Journals. Dr. Chernyshov is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Psychotherapist and Life Coach practicing in Kyiv since 2006, Dr. Sokol received her PsyD equivalent degree from the Moscow State Psychology University with a further degree from the State Diplomatic Academy of Russia. 

Dr. Sokol has participated in various European and American CME workshops and extended education programs including Gestalt therapy, Psychodrama, Age Psychology, obtaining certificates in Applied Positive Psychology from the New York Open Center, and a Certified Health Coach degree (CHC) from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, US. 

She has extensive international experience with individual, couple, and family counseling, treating depression, psychosomatic disturbances, stress, adaptation, and anxiety disorders. Violetta speaks English and Russian.

Dr. Martsynkovskiy graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University and in 2015 completed his internship and residency in Psychiatry.

Holding office at the Kyiv Psychiatric Hospital, Dr. Martsenkovskiy is a Lead Project Manager of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP) and is closely engaged with the Ukrainian Research Institute of Social and Forensic Psychiatry and Drug Abuse.

In 2016-2017 Dr. Martsenkovskiy attended CME courses in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Italy and Canada. Dr. Martsenkovskiy speaks English, Russian, and Ukrainian fluently and has held private practice at AMC since August 2015.

Dr. Adarichev graduated from the Donetsk Medical University in 2006 and soon after completed his clinical studies and internship in Family Medicine. 

Dr. Adarichev furthered his post-graduate studies in Cardiology and Rheumatology at the Donetsk Medical University, where he taught Cardiology, Rheumatology, and Hematology to English-speaking students.

In 2012, Dr. Adarichev received his Ph.D. degree in Cardiology specializing in Ischemic Heart Failure. He is credited with over thirty scientific papers and speaks fluent English, Russian and Ukrainian.

Dr. Lytvynenko received the specialization of Ophthalmologist at the Turkmen State Medical University (Ashgabat, Turkmenistan) in 1992 and earned her higher category license in 2004. 

She has more than twenty years of practical working experience in various private and state hospitals and clinics in Kyiv and is a member of the Ukrainian Ophthalmologists Association. 

Dr. Lytvinenko is widely published and has been with the AMC as resident ophthalmologist since 2001. She speaks English, Ukrainian, and Russian fluently.

Dr. Gorelic graduated with distinction from the Odessa National Medical University in 1996 as a Pediatrician and soon afterward received her specialization in Pediatric Surgery and Orthopedics. In 2005 Dr. Gorelic completed her Ph.D. Thesis, which specialized in the area of “Surgical Therapy of Deformed Joints for Cerebral Palsy Children”. 

Since 2002 Dr. Gorelic has been working as Associate Professor at the Child Surgery Department of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

Dr. Gorelic has more than fifteen years of experience in performing orthopedic operations on bones, muscles, joints, tendons, and tissues. 

At AMC Dr. Gorelic specializes in diagnostics and treatment of hip joints’ developmental delay, torticollis, foot pathology, and pathology of the spine. Dr. Gorelic has the highest category licensure and regularly participates in medical TV projects in Ukraine.

Dr. Kovalchuk graduated with distinction from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2009 and soon after completed his residency and clinical fellowship in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. As a student, Dr. Kovalchuk took part in international clinical exchange programs in Finland, Denmark, and Italy. In 2008 he was awarded the Mykola Amosov scholarship for the best research work in Clinical Medicine among Ukrainian students.

Dr. Kovalchuk is an active and recognized member of the AO Foundation (Association for the Study of Internal Fixation). He has completed AO Trauma Fellowships in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, USA, in 2012, and in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Traumatology in Wilhelminen Hospital of Vienna, Austria, in 2013. In 2015 he completed a Fellowship in Advanced Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Ghent University (Ghent, Belgium).

At present, Dr. Kovalchuk works as an Orthopedic Trauma and Sports Medicine Physician, overseeing national and international professional athletes and patients with sports injuries and complex trauma. Dr. Kovalchuk is specialized in sports traumatology; treatment of complex fractures; advanced shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee surgery; adult reconstruction and joint preservation surgery.

Dr. Kovalchuk regularly participates in Continuing Medical Education courses in Europe and the USA and is the author of more than 30 scientific articles. The results of his scientific work are being regularly presented at international meetings across Europe. In 2017, Dr. Kovalchuk submitted his Ph.D. Thesis. He is seeing patients by appointment and speaks English, Ukrainian, and Russian fluently.

Anna Melnichuk received her degree in Family Medicine and Dietology from the Donetsk National Medical University, with internship and residencies at the National Medical University O.O. Bogomolets (2015). Dr. Melnychuk is an active member of the Association of Dietitians of Ukraine. 

In 2016 she attended both the annual “Medical Nutrition” CME symposium, receiving her ADA certificate and a week-long seminar for leading nutritionists entitled “Weight Management and Wellness Therapy.” 

Dr. Anna Melnychuk regularly attends CME at the International Institute of Integral Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine in Moscow, where she was recently awarded a diploma with the completion of the 1st module.

Dr. Melnychuk joined AMC in 2018, providing nutrition and diet support to AMC patients and developing tailored individual nutrition plans. Anna's interests are in integrative or functional medicine and anti-aging medicine. Anna is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Dr. Nechay graduated from the National Bogomolets University as a Paediatrician in 1997 and received her specialization in pediatric neurology at the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. 

In 2013 Dr. Nechay wrote her Ph.D. Thesis, which specializes in the topic of “Diagnosis and Treatment of Epilepsy in Children of Early Age”. Since 1998 Dr. Nechay has been working at the Kyiv Pediatric Hospital Number One in and in 2002 she practiced at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow, Great Britain.

Dr. Nechay was an invited speaker at the European Congress on Epilepsy in Vienna, Austria in 2004 and at the Annual Meeting of the British Pediatric Neurology Association in Great Britain in 2005. 

Possessing the highest category licensure, Dr. Nechay has attended medical conferences and symposiums on neurology in Israel, France, and Great Britain and is published in leading Ukrainian and foreign medical Journals. Dr. Nechay speaks English, Ukrainian, and Russian fluently.

Dr. Syed Faizullah Hussaini graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2002 and in 2006 competed his Clinical Residency in Pediatric Surgery at Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital. Soon after, he submitted and defended his Ph.D. Thesis “Surgical Treatment of Children with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernias” and he is the author of 85 scientific papers for Ukrainian and foreign Medical Journals.

Since 2002 Dr.Hussaini has been working at the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital and since 2014 is Assistant Professor at Bogomolets National Medical University. He specializes in the correction of congenital respiratory and gastrointestinal tract anomalies endoscopically.

Dr.Hussaini joined AMC Kyiv in 2008. Speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian, Hindi, Urdu, and Telugu fluently.

Dr. Shchepelin graduated from the National Bogomolets University in 1995, and 1997 received a specialization as an Orthopaedist and Trauma Specialist.

Dr. Shchepelin joined AMC in 2000, after working for three years at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics. In his practice, Dr. Shchepelin uses conservative methods of prevention and treatment of joints and spine diseases.

In 2007 Dr.Shchepelin received the specialization of Manual Therapy and regularly visits Continuing Medical Education courses in kinesiology, taping, osteopathy, and craniosacral therapy. He speaks English, Ukrainian, and Russian fluently.

Michail Dyachuk graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2010 and soon after received his specialization in Urology. In 2010 Dr. Dyachuk began his career at the State institution of science “Research and Practical Center of Preventative and Clinical Medicine” and in 2015 was promoted to the Head of Operations of the Clinic.

He has attended various CME workshops in Ukraine and abroad including the 2010 laser surgery seminars in Italy and Germany and the 2011 “Fundamentals of science research and medical statistics” seminar in Alabama, USA. Dr. Dyachuk is a member of the European Association of Urology. He developed and patented a modified laser vaporization method for the prostate gland and for his career he has performed around 450 urological operations and 1,200 assistances.

Dr. Dyachuk joined AMC Kyiv in 2016 and speaks English, Ukrainian and Russian fluently.
