James Hogg Podiatry Clinic

BSc Podiatry, BSc Sports Science James is an HCPC Chiropodist and Podiatrist in Durham. Following completion of a Sports Science degree at Loughborough University in 2004, James studied Podiatry at Durham where he graduated in 2007. Since qualification, James has held his state podiatry registration with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and is also a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (SOCAP). James has also continued to support his professional career with ongoing post graduate training and qualification, most recently gaining a PG qualification in Diabetic Foot Care from Warwick University. As part of his professional ethos and desire for excellence, James believes that being up to date with current practice is essential to patient wellbeing. Following his academic achievement in 2007, James has benefited from a varied and wide clinical experience in both private practice and the NHS. His professional role has incorporated routine podiatric care and specialisms, including diabetic foot care, biomechanics and nail surgery. As Lead Podiatrist at the Solihull Hospital Foot Clinic, he successfully managed and treated a wide portfolio of challenging patient requirements. James is passionate about his profession, which has allowed him to bring together his wide ranging interest and study of aspects of anatomy, physiology, psychology, biomechanics and podiatric practice to the benefit of patient needs.
