About My Health Visitor LTD
My name is Rebecca Scott and I have been a qualified Health Visitor since 2014, when I gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting). Since then, I have been awarded a Masters degree in Public Health. Prior to my Health Visiting training, I worked as Hospital Midwife and as a Multiple Pregnancy Specialist.
As a UNICEF accredited breast feeding advisor, I am proud to have supported countless families to successfully breast feed their baby and of course I will also support and advise parents who wish to bottle feed their baby.
I have lots of experience in behaviour and sleep issues using a Solihull approach to ensure a long term benefits to families rather than short term, temporary fixes.
As well as practising as an Independent Health Visitor, I also work part time for the NHS and enjoy raising my own children.
I am a Full member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), Institute of Health Visiting (iHV), Community Practitioner and Health Visitors Association (CPHVA), registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and hold an enhanced DBS.
As a qualified, independent Health Visitor I offer individualised care through home visits, evening and weekend appointments and direct contact by phone and email, My Health Visitor helps keep you and your family healthy and happy.
Whether you would like a one-off session covering a particular aspect of care that you would like help with, right through to a full Health Visiting service designed to support you throughout your child’s development, I am here to help.
