Vijay is a highly experienced Physiotherapist and Sonographer with more than 22 years of experience in scanning and managing Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. Vijay has a special interest in ultrasound-guided injections for pain management and fine needle aspirations. Vijay is an independent prescriber and performs more than 3000 ultrasound guided injection procedures yearly.

Vijay started as a Physiotherapist and progressed in his career by excelling through a number of clinical and academic achievements in the MSK speciality and sonography over many years. Vijay also has undertaken several clinical and team lead roles for MSK services in the NHS and private hospitals in the East Midlands. Through his experience gained from several orthopaedic extended-scope triage roles, Vijay has developed a unique knowledge of pain management for MSK conditions that do not require surgery.

Vijay has completed a Master’s Degree in Medical Ultrasound at the Centre for Ultrasound Studies, Bournemouth University. Vijay is still one of less than 4 Physiotherapists in the world to train in fundamental components of sonography such as abdominal, head/neck, small parts, lumps/bumps and musculoskeletal ultrasound and he is actively practicing sonography in both NHS and private hospitals currently.

Vijay prides himself in helping patients whom are suffering with pain and have failed other conservative treatments. Through his academic knowledge and diverse clinical skills Vijay stands out as a highly experienced MSK specialist and sonographer in the country. He offers the most effective and advanced “one stop appointment” that includes physical assessment, scan, diagnosis, injection (if needed) and report in just one visit.
