Amanjaya Specialist Centre

He graduated from University Malaya in 1989. In 1997 he obtained his Masters' Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from University Malaya. He is also a member of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist of United Kingdom since 1996. In 1994 he was awarded the Young gynaecologist Award during the Malaysian Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecologist.

He is also one of the author for the State of Kedah/ Perlis Protocol in Obstetrics Practice in 1997. He has worked in many institutions prior to setting up Amanjaya Specialist Centre. Amongst them, he was a State Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for Perlis in 1997.

He also helped to set up the Women and Maternity Services in Strand Specialist Hospital in 1997 and was the pioneer Obstetrician and Gynaecologist there until 2005.

In 2009 he was awarded the prestigious fellowship by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom. Over the years he has accumulated a tremendous number of loyal patients who will likely continue to seek his expertise wherever he may be.

He has over 10,000 grateful patients registered in his present practice. Dr Tan is also well verse with local hospital set up requirement, and has been involved in the designing and construction of this first Green Hospital in Malaysia.

He is an extremely popular and well liked Paediatrician among the community and has a tremendous large pool of patients who will likely follow him to any establishment he may join. He is also a part time lecturer with AIMST University, teaching the medical students on a regular basis.

During her service in the government sector, she was awarded with Excellence Service Award in year 2008 by the Ministry of Health.

Dr. Vani obtained her membership from the Royal College of Physician in year 2010 and was gazetted as a Specialist in 2012. She was a Consultant Physician in Penang Hospital prior to joining ASC.
