"Caring attentive doctor who explains everything thoroughly to you"
5 50Reviewed 18 Jul 2018 Review verified by phone.
Treatment Received: GP Consultation
My regular GP for a few years now. Caring attentive doctor who explains everything thoroughly to you. I love his stories and diagrams. If you have a more complex problem he won't lose interest but will investigate until it is solved. He gets to know you and always asks how things have gone relating to earlier consultations.

Excellent GP as I said. Also, the reception goes the extra mile to accommodate your needs for appointments and anything for insurance. All examinations/blood tests I've needed so far have been carried out in the surgery rather than being referred to another clinic or hospital, so more convenient.

Osteopathy

CRANIOSACRAL OSTEOPATHY:

The role of an osteopath is to ensure that the muscle and skeletal system is in symbiosis with the body's physiology. Problems manifesting at a muscle and skeletal level can generate nervous, circulatory, digestive or hormonal dysfunctions and vice versa.

The body has a marvelous adaptation mechanism and powers of tissue regeneration. The problem arises when this capacity for regeneration and adaptation finds itself overloaded due to the sum of accumulated physical, emotional and nervous tensions. Is at the moment that pain suddenly starts to be felt that an osteopath can help.

Within these three fundamental principles the osteopath will use different approaches according to each patient. The range of techniques applied by an osteopath is very wide and range from vertebrae or internal organ manipulation to more subtle techniques such as craniosacral techniques.

Acupuncture

The duration and frequency of treatment varies depending on the severity of the imbalance, for how long the condition has been present, and whether or not anything in the person’s lifestyle is interfering with the progress of healing.

Holistic Health

Cupping

Cupping is a method used to dispel stagnant blood and lymph in the tissue and has been recorded as being used as early as 3,000 B.C.

It involves the use of glass cups to create a partial vacuum, suctioning the skin, to draw up the underlying tissues. By gently pulling blood and fluids to the surface, circulation and energy flow are improved.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion aids in warming acupuncture points to stimulate circulation through the points, inducing a smoother flow of blood and "Qi",

or energy flow, in the body.  It can also help turn breech babies.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

$40 - $50

Our treatment includes a number of modalities pertaining to Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Indeed, in addition to acupuncture, your condition may require the use of moxibustion, cupping, acupressure, Chinese nutritional therapy or herbal therapy.
