Richard has been working as a GP since 1986. In 1995, while working at the Carlton Clinic, he developed a special interest in treating HIV and STDs. This has remained a large part of his practice. He works at Northside Clinic 4 days per week and also consults at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre and at The Alfred Hospital. Richard is also interested in antenatal care and paediatrics. He is accredited for shared antenatal care of patients with Royal Women’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital. He is available for patient consultations on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Biography:
Cate graduated from Monash University in 1985. After 3 years working in hospitals in Victoria she moved to Darwin where she started her GP training. It was in Darwin that she developed an interest in sexual health medicine. She took a break from GP training and worked for 2 years as a part-time registrar at the AIDS / STD unit of the Communicable Diseases Unit based at Darwin Hospital. She combined this with work at Family Planning NT, where she spent a year as clinic director. Cate returned to Melbourne in 1993 and completed her GP training and a Diploma in Venereology. She is a vocationally registered GP. She has worked at various clinics around Melbourne including Family Planning Victoria, Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, Freemason's Women's Health Clinic, the Centre Clinic, and the Carlton Clinic. Several years ago Cate completed training in Sexual Health Medicine, attaining Fellowship of the Chapter of Sexual Health Physicians. Cate is interested in all aspects of sexual health medicine and HIV medicine. She has an interest in women's health, in particular vulval conditions including dermatology and pain syndromes. She enjoys the mixture of clinical general practice, sexual health medicine, and her administrative role at the clinic. Cate is available for patient consultations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Biography:
Ruth has worked as a GP since 1993 in Bacchus Marsh, Melton, the Northern Territory, the Aboriginal Health Service in Fitzroy and Deer Park Women’s Prison. She worked at Carlton Clinic from 1998 until helping to establish Northside Clinic in 2009. She has obtained Diplomas of obstetrics and gynaecology, and anaesthetics (in the UK), and has a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She completed a PhD in lesbian and bisexual women’s health in 2009. She has clinical interests in women’s health including lesbian and bisexual women’s health, transgender health, mental health and wellbeing, adolescent health, fertility and pregnancy care, and is accredited as an antenatal shared care provider. Ruth works at Northside clinic one and a half days a week. She also works half-time as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, teaching medical students and conducting research. She is also the Chairperson of the Victorian Ministerial Advisory Committee on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Health and Wellbeing, having been a member since the inaugural committee in 2000. She is available for patient consultations on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
