Emergency,IC & Ward 4E nothing but praise and respect for everybody who looked after me. Wonderful professional service and support during a very scary time. Loved the positive attitude that exists across the hospital.

I could not fault a thing

5 50 Fertility Specialist Consultation

What an absolutely beautiful, professional and outstanding medical facility. I spent several days at Pindara Hospital after having cervical surgery under Dr Leong Tan ( who is amazing in himself). The whole experience from waking in recovery with a beautiful nurse (Jimmy) to the ward nurses on 3E was nothing but the best, food was lovely, cleaners, physios and pharmacy. Big shout out to the nurses on the neurological ward outstanding people, Yui and Charlotte in particular. I could not fault a thing. 5 stars

I have had great faith in their abilities

4.5 50 GP Consultation

A few months ago I went to Pindara by ambulance around 7.00am on a Sunday morning. I found the ER Unit to be very organized and well staffed. Particular recognition should be given to Dr. Malcolm Osborne and the staff in this unit.

I spent the day in the ER and moved to the hospital in the evening and stayed at Pindara for four days.

My only issue with the hospital was a woman came down to see me in ER about 8.30am on the Sunday morning asking for information of coverage for my medical insurance. Approximately 11.30am another woman appeared, Glenda, and she proceeded to tell me that I was not financial with my fund and it would cost me around $1K per night to be admitted. I then was told that I immediately had to sign a document verifying that I would pay this daily charge. As she toddled off, she then made the comment "will check again tomorrow morning".

My only comment is: if you go to the ER on a Sunday, Glenda may be around to tell you that you are NOT financial with your fund! Do wonders for the blood pressure!!!!!!

The next morning, Monday, at approximately 8.30am Glenda telephoned my room and confirms that I am financial with my medical fund and then laughs. NO APOLOGY - I would suggest that Glenda needs some training in diplomacy and customer service.

The food is not particularly good although it has improved from when I was there for a number of days in 2015. The breakfast menu, in particular, is not good, although you can now get scrambled eggs whereas previously you could have a boiled egg or a boiled egg!

Overall, Pindara is a first class hospital. The facilities are very good and I would always say in an emergency "take me to Pindara".

Found the specialists I have dealt with to be the best and I have had great faith in their abilities. A special mention to Dr. Malcolm Osborne, Dr. Danny Di Vianna, Dr. Andrea Tazbirkova, Dr. David Della.

The parking at the back of the hospital is free, compared to Gold Coast University Hospital where the parking costs are over the top and so expensive.

It is worth having private medical insurance to be able to use Pindara and know that your medical requirements are in first class hands - you see your own doctor/s all the time.

Overall, the staff are great - just don't let Glenda near you unless your blood pressure needs a boost!!!!!

So grateful

Urologist Consultation

My husband suddenly took ill at home (6.30pm on Monday evening 13/2/2017) and within half an hour went from having fairly mild pain in left side back and around left side waist, to having really severe pain that was non-stop, along with vomiting. Immediately drove him to Pindara Private Emergency Dept, was taken in and immediate pain relief given. A CT scan was done in their brand new Emergency Dept on the direction of the very expert Doctor on duty that evening. Within half an hour a diagnosis of confirmed L side kidney stone was made. (1st time hubby has had anything like this before). That Doctor on duty that evening made an immediate call to Specialist Urologist to arrange consultation early next morning and continued with that same Specialist Urologist for surgery less than 24 hours after presentation at the Emergency Dept. Everyone from the wonderful Urologist (also Surgeon) Doctor in Charge and nursing staff of Emergency Dept., Level 2E ward, Theatre thru to Reception ladies were so very professional, friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. My husband and I are so grateful of how he was looked after, in every way. Every detail of procedures were clearly explained as was the 'follow up' stent removal (by the same Specialist Urologist/Surgeon) which was required a week later as a Day Surgery patient.

The complete process from medical procedures through to claiming paperwork for private fund and medicare was explained and completed with clarity and ease. First impressions of a pristine clean medical environment coupled with expert and friendly people who clearly cared about their job made the whole experience one where we are so very glad we chose Pindara. A 'follow up' phone call to him was even made by Pindara the next day to check on him - Thank You! Lots!

Absolutely amazing

5 50 GP Consultation

My 4 year old son needed surgery. As a mother I was quite nervous of how the experience would go. But from the moment we arrived at the reception desk we received nothing but exceptional service. Every staff member made our experience so wonderful that my son was boasting that he had such a fun time and wanted to come back! I wanted to thank everyone at Pindara as they are amazing at there job and showed so much love, passion and compassion. I would highly recommend this hospital and its staff to anyone and I will be highly praising them to anyone that asks.

Absolutely amazing,
Couldn't fault anything. If anything it exceeded my expectations by a lot!
