Dr. Seemal Desai is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Board Certified Dermatologist. He graduated with honors from Emory University. He received his medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2005. Following medical school, Dr. Desai completed his medical internship in Internal Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009, and served as Chief Resident for the Department of Dermatology from 2008-2009. Dr. Desai has been active on a local, state, and national level with numerous medical organizations. His major accomplishments have been with the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Medical Association, where he has held more than six elected positions. He is also actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dornechia George Carter, MD, is proud to call the Dallas-Fort Worth area home. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Carter completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University, earning a dual degree in Human Development, and Human Biology, Health, and Society. She attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, Texas as a Diversity Scholar. Following internship at The Methodist Hospital, she completed her training at Baylor as the first African-American resident in the department of Dermatology.

Heidi Cook is a nationally licensed and certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology. She obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2005. Prior to that, she completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She specializes in treating many skin conditions including acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Heidi is active in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and has earned Diplomate status, the highest honor within the Society. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Outside of work, Heidi enjoys reading, traveling, crossword puzzles, and most of all, spending time with her husband and three children. Heidi is committed to providing the highest level of patient focused care for you and your family.
