Is an experienced New York City trained, board certified dermatologist.

Dr. Carrasco was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas where he attended St. Mary’s University, graduating with honors in biology.

A graduate of the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Dr. Carrasco completed an internship in Internal Medicine in Houston, TX.

Following his internship, Dr. Carrasco accepted a position as a dermatopharmacology clinical fellow at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

He was then recruited to complete a fellowship in New York City at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he supervised the clinical trials unit at Mount Sinai’s Department of Dermatology.

Was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He attended college at Boston University where heAron graduated magna cum laude and was selected as the graduation speaker for his biology department.

He continued at Boston University for medical school before moving to Virginia for internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center.

Upon completion of internship, Dr. Gewirtzman moved to Houston, Texas where he served both as a dermatopharmacology research fellow at the Center for Clinical Studies as well as the first research fellow for the Dermatological Association of Texas.

Following his year in Houston, Dr. Gewirtzman was recruited to Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York where he helped expand the clinical trials unit for the Division of Dermatology.

Is an NCCPA nationally board certified and Texas state licensed Physician Assistant. She earned her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio where she graduated with honors.

She was awarded the Student Clinical Excellence Award by the School of Health Professions. Sally holds a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Sciences from UTHSCSA as well as a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas where she graduated summa cum laude.

Sally truly enjoys the practice of dermatology including medical, surgical and cosmetic. She was trained by nationally recognized cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Vivian Bucay who is featured in Allure and New Beauty Magazine.

She lives an active lifestyle and is ready to enjoy the live music and artistry that Austin has to offer.
