The Dentists - Auckland

I grew up in rural Hawkes Bay on a sheep farm. Growing up on a farm gave me a lot of practical skills and the ability to think quickly and solve problems. I had always wanted to go into a profession that required skilful use of hands and a professional training I was torn between Veterinary and dentistry. In the end I chose dentistry and know I made the right decision. I graduated from Dental School (Otago University) in 1976 and have continued my dental education ever since. The journey is exciting and continues. From the end of 1976 to the end of 1979 I worked in Auckland. In 1979 I decided it was time to do my O.E and travel to the U.K. for a two year work experience. I left with one suitcase. My two years somehow lasted for ten years working in Slough for that whole time. I returned in 1989 with an Australian wife and baby son. Now with over 30 years of experience in dentistry the journey of learning has been both fun, and fantastic.
