Cedarbrae and Danforth Orthodontic Centres - Scarborough

He is an orthodontic specialist who obtained a dental degree from the University of Toronto and a certificate in orthodontics at the University of Manitoba. He is board eligible. He is an executive member of the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity and a member of the Ontario Dental Association. He is also a past-president of the East Toronto Dental Association. He currently serves on the staff of the craniofacial and cleft palate team at Scarborough General Hospital and Centenary Hospital. He lectures at George Brown Community College and is the director of the Canadian Dental Protective Association. He volunteers with many charitable organizations. Away from the office, he enjoys fitness, golf and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

She is a board certified orthodontist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She obtained her dental degree from Case Western Reserve University and a certificate in orthodontics at St. Barnabas Hospital in affiliation with Columbia University in New York City. In addition, she completed a residency at Manhattan’s Mount Sinai Hospital. During her orthodontic residency she served as chief resident and received numerous awards including the top award for research and the award for the most patient dedicated resident. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Canadian Association of Orthodontists, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. Away from the office she enjoys running, cooking, travelling and spending time with family. Efrat and her husband, Joel, have three beautiful children – a son and twin daughters. “They keep me laughing everyday!”

He obtained her dental degree and a Certificate of Proficiency in Orthodontics at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has been the recipient of several awards and honors and is currently a member of the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, Toronto Orthodontic Study Club, American Association of Orthodontists, Canadian Association of Orthodontists and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She is board eligible. Away from the office she enjoys traveling, fitness and tennis. She loves spending quality time with her husband and three children, Jaymie, Jake and Lauren.
