Cleft Lip and Palate Treatment Dr Mark Lin Biography: B.SC, DDS, M.SC, FRCD(C) graduated from the University of Toronto in the Biochemistry Specialists honours program. He received his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in which he was on the Dean’s list for 4 consecutive years and finished within the top 5% of the class. As a senior dental student, he was selected to participate in the world renowned Oral Maxillofacial Surgical Externship program at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas. He then completed a 1-year General Practice Residency program at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton Ohio, where he received his training in hospital dentistry, Intravenous sedation and advanced surgical procedures.
Dr Goth Siu Biography: BHSC, DMD, MS, CERT. PROSTHO., FRCD(C), FACP is a Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is a Board Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is one of very few dual boarded Prosthodontists in both Canada and the US. He received multiple awards including the Academy of Osseointegration Award for Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry and the E. Howell Smith Award in Prosthetic Dentistry. He was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Honour Society and the Matthew Cryer Honor Society, the highest academic honour awarded to the top ten students in each class.
Dr Amy Yeung Biography: DDS, M.SC, FRCD(C) A graduate of the University of Toronto, Dr. Yeung received her Master’s degree in periodontal studies and has conducted extensive research in metabolic diseases. Over the past several years, she has received a number of awards in research as well as for academics which recognize the quality and thoroughness of her work. “Usually, my patients have severe gum disease or they have missing teeth and have reached the point of needing surgery.
