Dr. Milne graduated from St. Andrews University in Scotland before coming to Canada in 1967. Where he set up a general practice in Brantford Ontario. In 1970, Dr. Milne graduatedfrom the University of Manitoba with a Masters in Orthodontics and shortly there after relocated to Ottawa where he has been a proud supporter of the Ottawa dental community ever since.Dr. Milne was a founding member of the Cleft Lip and Palate team at the Childrens Hospital of Eastern Ontario. He provided treatment and advice to children with cleft palate and other facial anomalies. The program has grown steadily and now has 3 orthodontists on staff.Dr. Milne is an active member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists and served as president of the association in 1985. He was also president of the Canadian Foundation ofOrthodontics. He is an active member of both the Ontario and Canadian Dental Associations. And is also a member of both the American and World federation of Orthodontists.
