Dr Dexter Johnson
Biography:
After obtaining the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at McGill University in Canada in 1989, he joined the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto as an assistant professor. He was responsible for the Northern Outreach Program, including the teaching and supervision of dental students from the University of Toronto and University of Western Ontario. He also served as Dental Surgeon in Chief at the Moose Factory General Hospital during that time. In June of 1995, he obtained the Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College, following which he completed 3 years of residency training in general surgery at the University of medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He obtained formal training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the Massachussets General Hospital in Boston, MA.
