Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is a versatile cosmetic dentistry treatment offered at our London, Ontario practice that can be used to cover up stains or cracks in the teeth, repair chipped teeth, or transform their shape. Dr. Ong will place a plastic, tooth-colored resin on the teeth to create an aesthetically pleasing result. Dental bonding is a pain-free treatment, and is a convenient, inexpensive way to gain a flawless smile.

Dental Bridges
Dental bridges consist of a synthetic tooth, held in place by two porcelain crowns which are placed over adjacent teeth. This restorative dentistry option is ideal for individuals who are missing one or two teeth. Receiving dental bridges can help patients avoid tooth decay and shifting of surrounding teeth. They also increase comfort while eating and talking, and restore the appearance of a healthy smile.

Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are caps that are placed over damaged or decayed teeth to rebuild their structure and appearance, and seal out further decay. Using CEREC® technology, Dr. Ong is able to create strong, natural-looking porcelain crowns in just one dental appointment, saving the patient a significant amount of time over that required for the traditional fabrication and placement process. Unlike metal crowns, which are conspicuous and can breakdown over time, porcelain crowns blend in with the natural teeth and are proven to last more than 15 years.

Dental Implants
At his London, Ontario practice, Adelaide North Dental Care, Dr. Ong seeks to provide restorative dentistry treatments that are minimally invasive yet highly effective. In line with this commitment, he offers Bicon® dental implants, known as SHORT® implants, which are a mere 5mm long and do not hit the nerve. This reduces the need for bone grafting in patients with insufficient bone, and also reduces healing time. While Bicon SHORT® implants are smaller than their traditional counterparts, they are made of a strong titanium material, making them long-lasting and durable. Dental implants are the most stable and effective response to tooth loss, preserving the structures of the mouth while allowing patients to feel comfortable on a daily basis.

White Filling
hese durable restorations are used to restore the structure of the teeth, and prevent infection from spreading to the bone, dental nerve, and surrounding teeth. White fillings are made of a strong porcelain material that blends in seamlessly with the smile.

Invisalign™
This minimally invasive orthodontic treatment uses clear, plastic trays, rather than brackets or wires, to shift the teeth toward a more attractive and healthful position. This treatment option is popular among adults and teens who wish to straighten their smile, but do not want to deal with painful or conspicuous conventional braces.

Periodontitis Treatment

Snap-On Smile™
One of the most versatile and successful treatments available at Adelaide North Dental Care is the Snap-on Smile®. Designed to provide a more affordable option for patients who are missing most or all of their teeth, the Snap-on Smile® can also be used to diagnose and temporarily relieve TMD. If you're having a complete smile makeover and your treatments must be spaced out, ask Dr. Ong how a Snap-on Smile® can maintain your appearance while you wait for more permanent restorations. Ultimately, Snap-on Smile® can provide an immediate and dramatic improvement to a broken or incomplete smile.

Teeth Cleaning
Dr. Ong performs comprehensive cleanings at his general dentistry practice in London, Ontario. These cleanings are a part of his “full-care dentistry” philosophy and will help you feel refreshed and healthy after your appointment.

Teeth Whitening
Dr. Ong offers two effective and convenient teeth whitening systems, KöR Whitening Deep Bleaching™ and Zoom!® Whitening, to enhance his patients’ smiles. Administered at his London, Ontario practice, these cosmetic dentistry treatments have been proven to dramatically brighten the teeth, helping patients gain the luminous smile they’ve always wanted.

TMJ - Temporomandibular Joint Treatment
TMJ disorder is a painful jaw condition that is caused by stress on the temporomandibular joints (the joints that connect the lower jaw to the skull). If left untreated, TMJ disorder can result in bone deterioration, jaw and teeth misalignment, headaches, and persistent discomfort. Dr. Ong performs a thorough examination at his London, Ontario practice, including panoramic X-rays, to evaluate the position of the jaw and diagnose TMJ disorder. Once the scope of the condition is understood, Dr. Ong is able to create a customized, comprehensive treatment plan which may include orthodontic treatment, orthotics, and stress management techniques.
