Dr. Karen Furlong began practicing at Nova Dental upon graduation from Dalhousie Dental School in 1988. Over the past 20 years, she has helped direct our office’s growth in the community and was extremely involved with the planning of our new office.
A member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Nova Scotia Dental Association, Dr. Riordan graduated from Dalhousie University Dental School with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. She taught in the Pediatric and Orthodontic Departments as a part-time member of the Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry for several years.
Dr. Jane Porter has been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years. Prior to dentistry, Dr. Porter worked as a nurse in Halifax. Outside of working at the office, Dr. Porter is very involved in the regional and provincial Dental Associations, currently chairing the Professional Development Committee, and as past president of the Halifax County Dental Society.
Dr. Miller attended both the University of New Brunswick and Dalhousie University, where she completed her Bachelor degree in Science and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She is committed to staying informed about new technology and techniques through continuing education courses and is a member of the Nova Scotia Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association.
