Dr. Gene Jensen is a caring orthodontist with an international reputation. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie Dental School in Halifax, his Master of Science Degree and Orthodontic Diploma from the University of Manitoba, and his Fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists in Toronto. Dr. Jensen is an active member of both the Canadian Association of Orthodontics and the American Association of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of malformed and malaligned teeth, jaws, jaw muscles, jaw joints and facial deformities, caused by abnormally shaped or poorly aligned jaws and teeth.
Paulette trained as a dental assistant at Nova Scotia Institute of Technology in Halifax and later graduated from Dalhousie University as a dental hygienist. She has worked with Dr. Jensen for more than 25 years, giving her the knowledge and experience to answer questions or concerns patients have regarding their orthodontic treatment. Her professional skills make her a valuable asset to our team. Empathy and gentleness while working on patients has come naturally to Paulette, since she has had braces and jaw surgery herself.
