Dr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix is originally from Lameque, New Brunswick. Starting school at the age of 4 years old, he finished high school at the early age of 15. Following his undergraduate science studies at Université de Moncton, he received his DMD dentistry diploma from Université de Montréal in 1982.
He then practiced general family dentistry in his solo practice for 9 years in Dalhousie, NB. This was followed by a specialty residency in Periodontics in Halifax, NS at Dalhousie University, from which he graduated in 1993. He then established his specialty practice in Dieppe, NB, limiting it to and .
In 1995, the growth of the practice brought the construction of the present , which has been fully renovated in 2007/2008, including upgrading of equipment and addition of new technology.
He maintains membership in numerous professional organisations: local, provincial, and Canadian dental associations, Atlantic Society of Periodontology, Canadian Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Corporation Hospitaliere Beausejour, and Academy of Osseointegration.
