Obtained his DMD in 1982 from the University of Manitoba and his MBA in 2002 from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He had attended the very first University based “Esthetic Continuum” at Case Western Reserve University in 1992 and followed that up with a continuing education certificate in Cosmetic Dentistry from UCLA in 1998. He then attended the Misch Institute program in Implant dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Cholakis received his fellowship in the International College of Oral Implantology in 1996. Since that time Dr. Cholakis has placed and restored thousands of dental implants, making him one of Winnipeg’s most experienced dentists in placing and restoring dental implants. He maintains a private practice in Winnipeg devoted to implant and restorative dentistry. Academically Dr. Ernest Cholakis is an Assistant Professor and Co-Director of Dental Practice Management Studies. He is also the Founding Chairperson of the Deans Advisory Board, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Manitoba.

Obtained her BA from the University of Winnipeg in 1988 and her DMD and Diploma in Periodontics from the University of Manitoba in 1992 and 1998. She also attended the Misch Institute Program in Implant Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Cholakis is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of the Canadian and American Academy of Periodontists, Canadian Dental Association and Winnipeg Chapter of the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Cholakis is the Director of the Graduate Periodontal Program at the University of Manitoba, one of five such programs in Canada.

Endodontist Drew Brueckner received his BSc. in Biology from the University of Winnipeg and his D.M.D. and BSc. in Dentistry from the University of Manitoba in 1992. Dr. Brueckner practiced general dentistry from 1992-2006 in Winnipeg. During that time he was also an instructor and lecturer for the undergraduate endodontics program at the University of Manitoba. Drew received his endodontic speciality certificate from the University of Southern California in 2008. Dr. Brueckner has received the American Association of Endodontics Educator Fellowship Award, was the former Division Head in Endodontics at U of M from 2008-2010 and sat on the Scientific Advisory Board for the Journal of Endodontics.
