First Impressions Denture Clinic

Ryan was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada at the age of three, making Edmonton his home ever since. After high school, he enrolled in the BSc program at the University of Alberta, where he discovered a passion for dentistry and restoring smiles. Ryan was accepted into NAIT's highly competitive Denturist program and graduated with honors.

He gained valuable experience practicing at various clinics in Alberta before acquiring First Impressions. Committed to continuous learning, Ryan actively attends national and international implant seminars, digital dentistry courses, and conferences to enhance his expertise for the benefit of his patients. He collaborates closely with a team of dentists and oral surgeons in Edmonton to ensure the best outcomes for his patients.

As an active member of the College of Alberta Denturists (CAD), the Denturist Association of Alberta (DAA), and the Denturist Association of Canada (DAC), Ryan is particularly fascinated by digital dentistry and its integration into everyday practice. He sees significant value in digital dental technologies for patients requiring treatment and strongly believes that dental implants and digital dentistry are essential in modern dentistry.

Ryan enjoys working closely with his patients, listening to their stories, and determining the best treatment options to meet their needs. When he's not at the practice, he trains in mixed martial arts and enjoys exploring different cultures around the world. Ryan looks forward to treating patients in Edmonton and the surrounding areas, always welcoming them with a warm smile!

Jennifer was born and raised in Edmonton. Shortly after high school she enrolled in the Dental Assisting program at NAIT and has been treating patients since 2013. Her fondness in patient care and the dental field led her back to NAITs competitive Denture program. Since graduating she actively seeks to further her clinical skills and knowledge to provide ideal treatment for all her patients. She believes that dental treatments involve gaining an insight of patient concerns, proper communication and providing services with kindness and compassion. She is an active member with the College of Alberta Denturists (CAD) and College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA). Jennifer is bilingual, and happy to serve patients in both English and Cantonese. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys creating art, exploring local restaurants, and playing video games.

Alisha joined the First Impressions team as a student for her practicum and once graduated joined our team full time as a Denturist. She's had the opportunity to expand her knowledge and dexterity treating patients at Nait and in our facility. Alisha believes that her attention to detail paired with her love of interacting and getting to know the patients is the driving force behind her chosen career path. Outside of the clinic, Alisha enjoys trying new foods, travelling, and spending time with her loved ones. Her absolute favourite colour is teal, and you will often find her wearing her teal scrubs at the clinic.

Farzin is a dedicated and dynamic member in our team, known for her exceptional administrative skills and compassionate patient care. Born and raised in India, Farzin completed her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Mumbai University. Her early career saw her gain invaluable experience with five years in the administrative field, honing her organizational and managerial skills.

After immigrating to Canada, Farzin pursued further education and successfully completed the rigorous Medical Office Assistant program at MacEwan University. This training equipped her with the specialized knowledge and skills necessary for the healthcare environment, particularly within dental practices.

Farzin's role as an administrator in the dental community involves a multifaceted approach to patient care and office management. She is passionate about guiding patients through their denture journey & expertly handling insurance policies. Her ability to connect with patients, combined with her vivacious personality and positive energy, has made her a beloved figure in the clinic.

Patients consistently appreciate Farzin's dedication to ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience, from the moment they enter the clinic to the time they leave with a brighter smile. Outside of her professional life, Farzin enjoys cooking diverse cuisines for her family and exploring new travel destinations. Her commitment to excellence and genuine care for patients make her an invaluable asset to the dental community.
